Is there a zero star option? At 2 am, I made the mistake of pulling into this Mcdonalds. Coming down the road on the opposite side, the only 2 cars around raced to beat me into the parking lot. When it took the other two vehicles almost 12 minutes to order, I should have just pulled out and found something else. I ordered two McChickens without any alterations. Made it up to the drive-through window about 8 minutes later and was told I needed to go park and wait for my food. After waiting another 8 minutes and seeing even the car that was behind me get it's food, I drove back around through the drive-through to tell them to cancel my order. When I got around to the drive-thru ordering kiosk, a person Informed me that she was waiting outside with my meal for a while and asked where I had gone. Considering that about 20 seconds before that, no one had been outside and no one was even visible at the drive-thru window, I don't believe that that was the truth. When I drove back around I saw her far from the exit at the drive-thru window. At this point, 16 minutes had elapsed from the time. I had actually placed the order until she was able to deliver it to my car. Thus, I had waited 26 minutes for 2 McChickens. I confronted her on why this happened as I was upset that not even an apology was offered. At that point, she explained to me how the grill had decided to make everyone else's food, but forgot about mine. At that point she offered an apology with as much sincerity as my teenager does when he gets caught not having done his school homework. I get that mistakes happen. I just can't understand why as I waited in the parking spot for about 10 minutes seeing everyone else come and go, that no one would have come out to my car and said, 'Sorry sir. Your order will be on the way." Even better, somebody could have come have said, "Sorry sir. Your order will be on the way and for your troubles. I've included a drink and some fries.* But instead I was left to lament the extra 25 minute delay in my travels for two McChickens, which were hot and served with only few crumbs of lettuce and...
Read moreHave to give a great shout-out to this McDonald's! The Manager Shonda along with 4 employees that sure need to be recognized. Tookie, Esha, Monique & I belive the other lady's name is Cristina. (Sweet little white lady usually at 1st Drive thru window) (Please forgive my spelling)
These employees always go above and beyond for my orders! I almost always only get a Large Iced Caramel Coffee in the mornings. But sometimes I get Chicken biscuits or plain mcgriddle cakes for my kids. The food is always hot & fresh.
My coffee is a verryyy complicated drink with so much added into it and they usually make it just right.
If Monique sees that my coffee was made not how I like it. She will take it and come to the window. Have me pull up to the mini window and she makes it just right.
Cristina(?) Makes your morning. She always has a smile and always says Good Morning. She knows when it's me and to throw my recipe away and tells me to Have a great day. Every single time.
Tookie is always extremely respectful and polite as can be.
Esha, now she may not say much. But when she does it is always with manners and never rude.
Ms. Shonda will go above and beyond for her customers. When the app is down she makes sure to accompany the customer in anyway she can with their order. If food goes wrong. She makes sure to get it fixed and she will personally bring it to you and offer something else.
It may not be a lot to some. But it is a lot to me as I truly stop here 7 days a week and get either my free coffee or 99...
Read moreOhh my goodness I had the best experience at this McDonald location. It was clean and for once the kiosk worked for me to complete my order, although when I got to the end I was so confused when it told me to enter my table number. I sent my grandson to the cashier and when he got to the front, I said please tell me where I can get a table holder from. The cashier could have just screamed its right there to the left side of you...but she did not, she kindly locked her cash drawer and walked over and handed me one. Then I was so exhausted from handing my three grandchildren who had stayed with me for three weeks (one of whom is autistic, and was doing a lot of moving around), and I am sure I did not have all of my wits, because after that I still did not know what to do. The cashier kindly said you just need to come up here and pay. So this entire post is to commend and congratulate Ms. Diarra on her wonderful, amazing, spectacular service. I was so impressed by her level of care for the customers and pleasant attitude that I even called back to the store to find out the proper way to spell her name and told them I would be writing a review. Thanks Ms. Diarra for making our trip to Madisonville McDonald's one of the best experiences I have had at a McDonald's in a...
