Chick-A-Dilly — Restaurant in Magnolia

I want to start off by saying never waste your hard earned money in this rude, unprofessional place ever. As I came to this place to give it a try as I work out of state and etc and me and my coworkers came to grab a quick bite. And the lady that took our order was very rude were she didn’t even give us time to look over the menu to see what we wanted as this was our first time going here, and she also was rushing us to order our food and we got chicken strips that were the size of a golfball and they had the nerve to charge $11 for that with tax and it took them over 30 minutes to cook the chicken strips not to mention when we finally got our food one of the workers through food at my coworker and it made her very upset. Will never recommend a dog to eat at this unprofessional run down...

Went to Homer Chick-a-dilly on Monday for our normal order of #6, 3 piece white meat, and a large order of livers and a large half/half sweet/unsweetened ice tea. Wait was less than usual. Navigating around drive thru is terrible at this location, especially in full-size pickup. Got our order and started home to Haynesville. Had our order sitting on dash. The smell was about to make me sick before got in.. Made it home and started to eat. The livers were terrible, tasted old and had the tast and smell of old grease. First chicken breast was same way. Really had me feeling sick. Tried to feed it to my dog that loves fried chicken and she never took a bite. Have been going there for years and this was first time it was bad. Is the store on the west side of magtown ever going to get some much needed attention and maintenance? Is the ugly faded red window shades ever going to get replaced? And a busted/broken sign that loks like its been used for target practice. Will that store ever get brought up to 21st century standards? Will they ever start back to selling chicken gizzards? What about the old outdated menu on the side of the store? Is someone ever going to do anything with the original store on main st thats been there for so so long? I hope someone has future plans to reopen it. Or have it risen to the ground. Its Just an empty building that's been setting there since the day it caught on fire. It's one hell...
