I have been waiting for this place to open for months and it's been worth the wait! Fantastic craft beer just a quick bike ride from the house, yes please! I took a ride over other night to check out the offerings, greeted by Greg and Dean (the owners/brewers) as I rode up. With 8 beers on tap that night (they had sold out of 2 others the night before) I chose to "Ride the Rail" and get a sampling of what they had to offer. With 2 flights lined up in front of me and the obligatory pictures taken of said flights, the drinking commenced. As I began sampling a couple of friends popped in, and over the next couple of hours, chatting with Greg and Dean, enjoying some music, laughing at the antics of Dingus the dog, we drank some mighty fine beer. Everything I sampled I would drink on the regular, all very enjoyable. A couple of standouts for me were Leotis Box and Jack Straw, but again I would drink them all on the regular. CHEERS!!

Wow! What a nice time at Fibs Brewing! It’s a nice little brewery in Des Plaines. I think the last time I was in wonderful Des Plaines was to go to the Kmart out there. Ok I did a beer flight Watermelon Juggling Ranchero Ale, Fib Cage Kolsch and their Guatemalan Grappler. Of the 3 the Grappler was my fav as it was a nice stout, not too thick and not too heavy of an aftertaste. It’s one of those places great for carry out or if you wanna have a beer or two before an event at Allstate Arena. There is a patio outside if you wanna kick back and have a few swigs. They also provide Toaster Oven Pizza. The location is in an industrial park so parking is fine.

I loved it, went opening day. Tried every beer, all were excellent. Staff/owner was super nice. Prices are NOT high (average for breweries), and the clientele was perfectly fine. Love the decor/atmosphere...taking hubby and mom back to show them. Great place I can not say enough good things about this place. I go here at least twice monthly, if not every week! Greg, Dean, Tracey, Corinne (don't kill me for spelling that wrong), Kim...the patrons as well...just all great people. You NEED to go here!

I went in for the first time today. It is a small establishment. All the beer they have on draft is made in house. There was a big selection.

The beer was a 7/10. Which in my books is a decent beer.

I gave Fibs Brewing a 2 star rating because the service sucked. There was only one person working the whole bar. He was very busy doing everything. Cleaning, taking glasses from the table, and bartending.

That made the service extremely slow. When we tried to get a second beer, there was no one there to tend bar. We tried going up there twice with no service. We finally gave up and only had one beer.

Which is a shame, because if there was someone there to order from, I would of gotten at least one more.

But, based off of my experience, I would not go back because of the poor service. Which could have been prevented if the place was not so cheap where they could hire another person to help. I would almost ask for a refund because it shortened...

This place has the best beer, staff, and hospitality! I reached out to them through email asking to host our annual Christmas/ husband’s birthday get together. They were prompt and very friendly when responding to any questions and requests I had for our party. Their team even set up karaoke for us through their iPad. Our guests had a blast with that entertainment :-) The place was clean (including the bathrooms, which is always a plus for a bar!). The staff was knowledgeable on their delicious beers. They allowed me to have a small sample before purchasing a beer to ensure I would enjoy my drink. Their menu also includes some fun seltzer drinks as well. For those who are not into beer they also offer hard liquor. Having some food on the menu is a plus too! We have been to many breweries in Wisconsin and Illinois and I just have to say, FIBS has some of the best tasting beers we have ever had. It is definitely a hidden gem. We will be...
