I ordered from this restaurant through the EAT24 app. I ordered about $60 worth of food, which a part of it was supposed to be pan fried noodles with chicken, and rice on the side. I received my order, and noticed that the pan fried noodles looked like old stale noodles, the chicken was basically pepper chicken, and the rice never came. I had also ordered lobster sauce which they sent beef with vegetables instead.
I contacted EAT24 and they helped me with my situation, but when they contacted the restaurant, they were told that the rice did NOT come with the noodles as it stated online. EAT24 gave me a refund on the item, but I called the restaurant directly to confront them and tell them that what they had online said that the noodles came with rice, and that was what I expected. The lady on he phone laughed at me and said NO this does NOT come with the rice. I then asked her why it is advertised as so. She continued barking back at me that this item did not come with rice. And that it is not listed like that on their paper menu. I kept explaining to this woman that I ordered online and that it clearly stated that the item states that it comes with rice. She keep yelling NO at me and that it's not on her paper menu.
In the end, the woman said she would send the rice, which as of yet has not arrived.
If you would like to be told you are wrong because you ordered online and not from their paper menu, definitely order from here and God speed.
I will NEVER order...
Read moreI haven't eaten such bad Chinese food in a long time. All the dishes had a huge oil after taste. We waited for a long time for the dishes even though there were absolutely no one there, and when it came: The skewers were dry and not tasteful. One even came cold. The soup dish should have a light taste but it had a huge oil after taste. The cold appetizer didnt have enough sauce as it should have. The vegetable, also a light dish, has a huge oil after taste. It is a very simple dish but again, had more oil taste than flavor. The tofu appetizer was definitely not authentic and seem like they just put a bunch if random seasoning that didnt go well with each other.
I reeeeeally haven't eaten such bad chinese food in a looong time, not much heart was put into the food. The only thing that was good was the dumplings. Go for the dumplings if you must go and atmosphere,...
Read moreVery average. Summary of what I ordered:
House fried rice - Fine, but not the crispy brown stuff you would expect ordering fried rice. Basically is just white rice with ingredients in it. If I ordered again, I'd just get white rice.
Scallion Pancakes - Think these are the typical frozen ones that you see at most chinese places, except I found them to be flatter and harder.
General Tso Chicken - Exactly what you'd expect, tasted pretty good. Only issue is there's so much batter on the chicken.
Mapo Tofu - Looked promising, but the sauce didn't taste like much. Otherwise fine.
Dan Dan Noodles - Better than I've had at some other takeout places in the area. Noodles were pretty clearly overcooked and wish the sauce was slightly spicier but otherwise OK.
None of the food was awful and the amount of food I got for $50 was fine. Not sure I would order again just because better...
