McDonald's — Restaurant in Malden

The Broadway McDonalds on the Everett/Malden line across from the cemetary has just had a major makeover and so far so good. From the aesthetics to the staff, just about everything was replaced. It went from an outdated, trashy, dump looking McDonalds with horrible rude staff that you could clearly tell didnt care about the place or their job, not to mention the food was TERRIBLE and they cooked with old grease all the time so everything tasted even nastier, to now this modern, bright, up-beat quick service place. Since the update I have not waited very long in lines whether it be drive-thru or walk-in. The curb side pick up is extremely fast. The staff can be understood clearly and understands the customers too. The managers are on top of things. They are friendly & helpful. The food has had a complete turn around. It is always hot and tasty and actually looks appealing. It still is a small location and the design inside is not really geared towards kids anymore but more towards the trendy young adult crowd. I prefer this McDonalds to be my go to one now. Which is crazy saying because before the makeover I made sure to not go there and I told everyone I knew not to either because the food was so disgusting. Well, Sandra you must be having a bad day. But I do recommend not talking so loud. I overheard you talking to your employee about how I cannot make up my mind about my order. In fact I did make up my mind, I asked for a quarter pounder deluxe with 2 extra patties and two extra cheese. And I've made about 3 attempts to make sure the order was correct. Maybe you should correct your employees first before you come for your customers. However your attitude didn't really show that you cared, that I was trying to make sure I got my order correct. Lo and behold, I knew I should've stopped to check. But all the employees you had looked like they hated life and anyone who came to order. Including yourself Sandra. But end of story, I got a double quarter pounder not what I asked 3 times for. Trust me, Ive tried ordered a triple deluxe quarter pounder before and your employees tried to school me on how to order. However it came out correct. When I ordered it my way. But I didn't complain about that first incident. It took you Sandra, and all your employees who are too busy on their phones and talking gossip that took it too far. I hope you learn to keep your mouth...

Ok so I can't believe how everything was so very clean. I first went to the bathroom to was my hands and just noticed how immaculate everything was. I went to order (used kiosk) super easy and efficient. While I waited for my order, a lady was walking out with a smile. She stopped just as I was picking up my order and said to the staff behind the counter : " congratulations, very clean place. " He replied " thank you." I was thinking yup, I agree. Then he handed me my cup and I headed to the ice machine. I believe that's the true test so I was super pleased to see it was so clean. I mean, I've been to places where there's mold and that's just horrible so I appreciate it that so much. I headed to my car.... where I'm writing this right now. I took the time to do it because it's not always that I enjoy a McDonald's so much. Yes, I finished my quarter pounder with bacon meal and in super satisfied. It really made my day. Now I'm off to doing laundry.......
