Waffle House — Restaurant in Malvern

Stopped in at the Waffle House, on Martin Luther King Blvd., in Malvern, AR on my way back to Mabelvale, AR. Had visited my sister in McKinney, TX. It was a difficult trip, because she has Alzheimer's. I was feeling really down so decided to stop for something to eat. The atmosphere at this Waffle House was just what I needed. Everyone was so friendly, service was excellent and quick. The team that was working were enjoying their patrons, enjoying their work and seemed to take great pride in what they were doing. Never saw one "grumpy" face!! They were polite to each other, said "Welcome", to everyone who came through the door and made sure their guests were top priority. The lady waiting on me could tell my heart was heavy, and she asked if I was OK. For someone so busy, to take the time to notice when someone could use a little encouragement, meant the world to me. I wasn't just someone who stopped to eat. She didn't just take my order, she saw me as a person and for that I was very thankful. My breakfast was top notch, my coffee cup never empty and my heart felt better. This is a great team of people invested in their jobs and the people they enjoy. I love WH. But listen, this one, so far, has been my favorite. I'll tell you why. . .

The waitress was a little weird, but I'm a little weird so that's okay. I don't remember her name, but she was great.

EVERYONE greeted me when I walked in. Not just one or two mediocre hellos but HOWDY, WELCOME TO WAFFLE HOUSE, etc. You get my drift. It's great to be acknowledged when you walk in.

The cook, Edwin, I believe was his name, did a fabulous job on both the hash browns and the light bacon I ordered. I like my bacon done and floppy. Not crispy flat to break your teeth, or so undone that it's hard to chew and you swallow and hope for the best so you don't have to chew anymore. The bacon he cooked was perfect! Brown and done yet solid enough to stay together and get the thick bite your mouth wants to feel when you're eating a BLT.

The hash browns were also perfect! Crunchy and golden on the outside and soft and fluffy on the middle.

The staff were all communicating and still doing their own thing. The flow was just good!

Go here. You won't regret it. Props to them because they were packed when I got there. I sat at the tall bar. From order, to service, to out the door was about 30...

First I was attending to a lady who was also very professional but I want to think that she is new because I was ordering and she did not understand my order very well but I want to emphasize that very professional she went to ask for help from Miss Ashly and attended me with a lot of professionalism how to treat a client.

I am a truck driver and I travel all over the country and I love the food of waffles house but in almost all its locations especially in TROI, IL has a super horrible customer service has no education the waitresses treat you as if you were asking them regular.
