Wife and I drove from Ft Smith to Malvern because after searching the internet we found they had the best deal on the vehicle we were looking for. When we arrived at the dealer we parked directly behind the car we wanted. After looking over the outside of the car and no-one coming out, I went inside the building to find a sales person. When I walked in, there were 5 people in the showroom, none of whom were wearing masks (I was). After observing for a few minutes it was easy to see three people were together, one was asking about his vehicle which was in the repair shop, one was the man he was asking. The employee walked out to check on the car in the shop. There was a salesman working on paperwork for the family of three that was together, and there were 2 men in an office, that continued to talk and ignore the showroom. After waiting in the showroom for more than 5 minute, moving around some to keep distance from the other people waiting, I gave up and walked out the door. I called to my wife to get in our truck because they must not want our business. I made it all of the way back to my truck before someone came running out the door asking if we had not been helped. We told him no, we had been ignored. My wife told him how far we had driven to look at the car, because it looked like the best deal in a 200 mile radius. At that point I was ready to leave, but she really wanted the car. The salesman started saying how the showroom was really crowded, with 7 or 8 people inside and I told him that was a lie. Then he tried to say how they couldnt tell I wasnt with anyone else. I asked him why not considering I was wearing a mask and nobody else was, and I walked in alone. He ended up getting the key so we could test drive the car. We told him we had the money in place and could pay for the car, but there was a recall on it that he said had to be fixed before they could let it off of the lot. We made arrangements for the car to be brought to us on Monday, that was then delayed to Wednesday because of a part for the recall. The car was delivered on Wednesday, and the men that brought it were nice and professional. I wish the same could have been said for...
Read moreI have always had a good relationship with Smart Ford. My last visits were a stark contrast.
Between April 30 and June 19, 2025, my Ford Raptor was in and out of the shop at Smart Ford multiple times for the same unresolved issues. Unfortunately, my experience with the service department—particularly with Brandon and Service Manager Michael Betts—was extremely disappointing.
Brandon consistently failed to follow through on multiple commitments. Despite several conversations, he never ordered a replacement gas cap as promised, and he claimed to have saved fuel samples for analysis but later admitted he had not. He was also routinely unaware of the actual status of my vehicle during service.
I was charged for an ABS module repair that should have been covered under warranty. Although both Brandon and the service manager acknowledged this mistake and promised to correct it, they never followed through.
Michael Betts repeatedly stated that my truck had been repaired, only for it to be returned to the shop multiple times for the same issue. After one visit, it was returned to me with two warning lights illuminated and a loose fuel line. When I received the vehicle again, the same warning lights reappeared the very next time it was started. Another Ford dealer ultimately discovered that the loose fuel line had never been properly addressed and resolved the issue.
At that point, I had lost all confidence in the service department and decided to part ways with the vehicle.
Throughout this process, I was also promised a loaner vehicle, which turned out to be a Ford Focus with slashed seats, a severely cracked windshield, and no spare tire—an unacceptable option by any standard. Additionally, I was not reimbursed for a rental vehicle I used following the third repair attempt, despite sending the rental agreement to Brandon via email as requested.
This experience has been frustrating, costly, and disappointing. I expected far more from a certified Ford dealership, especially one servicing a high-end vehicle...
Read moreMy wife and I had a very satisfying experience purchasing a 2021 Ford F150 Limited from Smart Ford in Malvern, Arkansas. The process started with us sifting through listings on various online platforms until we decided to contact the dealership.
Upon reaching there from Dallas, we were warmly welcomed by Ethan Martin, our salesman. He made sure the vehicle was prepared and ready for our inspection—a thoughtful gesture after our extended journey. His sales approach was noteworthy; it was relaxed and he allowed us the time to make an informed decision without feeling pressed.
It was particularly reassuring to see that Ethan was upfront about the value of our 2018 Ford Explorer trade-in, offering a fair price without the need for negotiation. His knowledge about the F150's features was thorough, helping us to understand all aspects of our new vehicle.
We were also impressed by the competitive pricing at Smart Ford. The transparency of the deal, with no additional or hidden costs, was much appreciated in a market often filled with fine print.
In our discussions with the finance department, the absence of pressure continued. Although we declined the extended warranty, their response was gracious and professional.
In conclusion, our time at Smart Ford and Ethan Martin's assistance was commendable. The dealership presented itself with an emphasis on integrity and customer satisfaction. For those looking for a vehicle, I recommend Smart Ford as a trustworthy and...
