George Lu — Restaurant in Manasquan

I’m new to the area and tried this place a few weeks ago. I had a wonton soup and shrimp combo. I was not impressed. No flavor. I gave them a second chance today and took out Subgum Wonton. I was surprised to see the fried wonton were placed inside the container. Normally they’re packaged separately so they stay crisp. The chicken and pork were tender but once again, no flavor. However my biggest complaint this time was the lack of meat and seafood and the over-abundance of vegetables. This place is only 2 minutes from my house and the staff are very pleasant. Horrible horrible horrible. The owner woman who takes the orders at the counter is not only rude but also a thief. Unbeknownst to customers, she charges for duck sauce and house hot mustard that is normally free in every other Chinese restaurant. She had nothing to say when I confronted her for the $2 charge for a little cup of mustard and duck sauce and I told her why would you charge me for the house duck sauce and hot mustard when I can have it at the table inside the restaurant for free. She then told me "never come back!! She needs to make money"

This place has horrible customer service. I ordered plain fried rice and they gave me white so I called them back and the person that answered told me that I didn’t and I ordered white rice but I didn’t. I gave the phone to my mother and she’s more confrontational so she told the woman that I didn’t order white rice and then the woman started to curse and yell at my mom and saying to never order there again. And from now on we don’t instead we go to another amazing chinese restaurant a few steps away. Don’t ever come here and go to the Golden Cheung Chinese Restaurant they have a better...
