I’ve been meaning to stop in to grab a slice for years. I wish I stopped in sooner. My mouth is watering as I think about describing this perfectly crafted pizza. The light airy crust was the perfect thickness and had a soft yet toasty crunch. The quality of sauce, cheese and spices are way above average. A lot of the ingredients are sourced from Italy - non-GMO tomatoes, the flour used is quality wheat that contains no additives or added enzymes. The toppings are sourced locally or from Italy. I typically have a reaction from dairy and gluten but I had no issue with this pizza. This is probably because most of it is sourced from good quality ingredients from Italy. It’s also kid approved! My daughter absolutely loved it. This is the best pizza in this area and maybe even the best in Jersey. I can’t wait to go back for more. Update: We have been back for more multiple times. Along with the pizza, we ordered Penne Vodka and chicken cutlets with prosciutto. The spicy gnocchi special was so unique and delicious! We should’ve ordered more because everyone wanted to eat my dinner. The meal are consistently great! Everyone that we introduce this place to raves about it and wants to go back another meal.

This place is phenomenal. We ate here once last summer and their pizza was pretty great — super-fresh ingredients, great toppings, and delicious crust. I cannot emphasize those three components enough, but their dough is next level. I’ll be honest, for eating there just once a year ago, I continued to think about Qua pizza more than I probably should admit. Fast forward a year and I’m back in the Squan and, of course, back at Qua. New pizzas and still delicious…perhaps even better than last summer. Just look at those pictures. Every. Single. Pie. Was. Amazing. The roasted eggplant though…wow. Makes me want to try some of their other dishes so bad. Anyway, if you’re anywhere near Manasquan, do yourself a favor and grab as many pizzas as you can from Qua. So darn good.

3.5 stars which is overall ok in my book. Qua has really good reviews, but overall I really didn’t care for their pizza. It wasn’t bad, but I didn’t think it was great. I ordered a half Margarita and half Parmigiana pizza. The Margarita Pizza I thought was bland, but the mozzarella cheese was good quality. The Parmigiana pizza was good. The pizza dough is airy on top and crispy on the bottom. I personally didn’t care for their pizza dough, and I thought their sauce was bland. They don’t put enough sauce or cheese on any of their pizzas either. I wouldn’t come back, but I still say try it. Everybody likes a different style pizza.

Good food but the service is always terrible for take out. They will forget a dinner every time guaranteed. One time they sent us a lobster ravioli when we ordered gnocchi. When we called back they said that the lobster ravioli was more expensive than the gnocchi so we should be happy with it. I am allergic to lobster and told them that I was allergic. They refused to replace it because they were closing soon and were shutting down the kitchen.

It also always takes forever to pick up take out (40 minute wait time and then you show up in 40 mins and have to wait at least another 30 after the original 40).

I would only recommend dining in because they will get it to you in a timely manner and won’t have an apathetic teenager bagging the order.

Prices are high for pasta but you know that ahead of time.

Check everything before you leave the counter. Make sure you get a receipt to make sure the person who took your order over the phone inputted it into the pos system correctly to the kitchen. Check every container to make sure you have the correct pastas and they actually gave you the protein you ordered. If you do not audit them you will be burned and they will gas light you saying they both checked it and the order was correct.

The cooks are great. The food is always delicious but prices are high and there are massive problems with take out.

Go there and eat in there prepared to spend $40 per person and you will have...

I had a really bad experience here Monday night. We waited an hour or more to be served then the dark curly hair guy said they were out of pizza! How could a pizza place be out of pizza dough?? Meanwhile as we sat at our table outside we were exposed to a stream of people taking out 3 or more pies while we sat and sat. A lady at another table commented i guess we know were the pizzas went. My advice focus on customers who are in front of you sitting at tables than the phone. I ended up getting up and leaving. My boyfriend sat there like a stooge. I will not tolerate bad customer service!! You dont order and then be told they are out!! We had just discovered the place loved the food. It was really sad to see the sharp decline. Wont be back...i ended up going to the pizza place in Ocean Grove which I...
