McGee Black Irish Coffee Company — Restaurant in Manasquan

Been wanting to come here after seeing all the posts on social media (along with everyone else. This is on Main Street now and offers plenty of street parking if you can find a spot. We went early enough that we didn't wait as long. The owner came around he was so sweet thanking everyone and just explaining why the wait was what it was. We told him we understood and that they were doing great, we get it. I got the coconut macadamia latte with oat milk in a bucket and loved mine. My friend got a cookie butter caramel latte which she said was okay- we had to add more oat milk it came out too dark and our other friend got the cannoli latte which looked great and he did he liked. The girls working the registers weren't the friendliest, but I get they were busy. They offer some food I think pastries and scones but they were maybe out of them already. It's definitely busy for sure. People just need to anticipate they will be waiting. I also think it would be easier for customers if they hung their coffee flavors and signs on the wall so people could look while waiting. I think this place will do really well. We came from about an hour away after seeing the viral tiktok coffee buckets and it did not disappoint! The coffee shop is super cute, staff was super friendly and efficient and powered through a long line of customers.

They have a huge list of custom drinks you can order or just grab a simple cup of coffee but truly seems like they have something for everyone. I ordered the cannoli ice coffee buckets and did get it half decaf, as well as a cranberry walnut scone - both are delicious!

You can easily turn this into a day trip as Manasquan is such a cute town and so close to great beaches.

We also met the owner who was so nice and enthusiastic about coffee, you can truly tell he pours love into this shop every day and appreciates every person who walks through the door - he saw someone taking pictures of their coffee for social and personally thanked them...
