First time dining, the Elote Man outside is what brought us here of which I highly recommend.
Went in and had the Caldo de Res, Al Pastor Torta and Pupusa de Queso.
The Caldo was a rich and clear soup with nice large chunks of tender beef. It was packed full of large cut veggies like what you would see in a chicken noodle soup and more. It was is comforting and hearty. Would come back for that.
The Pupusa was a well organized one (the way it was presented was an unusually perfect. It was thick with cheese and had at least a 12 inch cheese pull. Did the job.
The Torta was just alright. Flavorful meat but wouldnt just order that without eating it with something else.
When you enter, you'll pass by some serve yourself bakery treats. You will order at the stand ahead. It appears you pick up the food yourself whether you hear them or not. This area in on the right of the ordering stand. It will have silverware and toppings you can add to your dishes. All self served. I suppose in this day and age, serve at your own risk.
Would like to come back for the chicken...
Read moreI have been going here for many years my last visit was the end. The place is filthy and it's always been filthy. Lets be truthful they do not do anything for their loyal customers to upgrade or even clean the place up. I took my son in for tacos last week he couldn't believe I was giving you my business. The ham torta was awful the meat department including the chaparrito butcher is awful. He has the meat laying out on the butcher block and eating God knows What on the block!!! He is always in a nasty mood... the only person who I can say are great there is Maria who does your taxes and the girl behind the counter taking food orders everyone else gives horrible customer service. Allll your stores are disgustingly FILTHY. I had to get that out you really need to do something about it. Greedy owner who is just taking...
Read moreHey, I didn't rate atmosphere because this is "The REAL DEAL "Mexicano food locale. I came out from CA to visit my son who is in the military stationed in VA. CA has multitudes of real authentic Mexican eateries. So, I didn't really expect to get the real "good food" in Manassas, VA. But miracles do exist and I got what I wanted and then some!! My standard for judging a good Mexican dish is to taste the " street tacos". Well, Mexico Lindo's asada was marinaded in something delicious because the tacos were out of this world, and they gave me plenty of grilled onions and cilantro. My son and grandson loved their asada burritos, I had to finish my grandson's, it was huge. While I was there I saw a patron walk by with a big bowl of Mexico Lindo beef soup. It looked great and had a lot of veggies in it too. That's for...
