Wendy's — Restaurant in Manchester Township

While the restaurant it has been recently remodeled and looks very nice, the service and cleanliness at this particular Wendy's is the worst I've ever experienced.

I made an online order before entering the restaurant, and still had to wait 15 minutes before it was brought out. As far as I could tell, there was just a single young woman working behind the counter. While she was running back and forth between the drive through window and the different stations preparing food, at least three other workers were simply standing off to the side and talking.

At one point, a couple came into the restaurant and stood at the register waiting to be helped. The young woman, still single handedly running the drive through by herself, called to the others that customers were waiting at the front. While they did look up and appear to make eye contact with the customers, they continued their conversation without moving. After a few minutes, the customers simply left, as it was clear they were not going to come and take their order. I've quite honestly never seen anything like it.

Eventually, another worker did come to assist and they finished my order (unfortunately, I didn't think to ask their names at the time). If it wasn't for the two of them, I don't think any food would have been prepared that evening.

With my food in hand, I soon realized that both the drink station and the seating area were absolutely overrun with flies. Not just one or two, but dozens of them swarming around. It was like trying to eat next to an open dumpster.

Looking at the recent reviews, it seems like my experience isn't uncommon. It also appears that the management at this particular location is unconcerned that their restaurant is gaining a poor reputation. A very sad state of affairs.

All I can suggest is that you avoid this location at all costs. Drive a few hundred feet down the road and go to the Wawa, they have better burgers these days than most of the fast food...

This was the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. First challenge was finding a clean table to sit out. I found a squirt bottle filled with cleaner and was tempted to apply for a job and start cleaning. The floor was very dirty. Looked as though they hadn't vacuumed in days. There were no little cups for ketchup and no napkins available at the counter. I brought in my food from Wawa and started eating as my friends got in line to order. I finished all of my food before any of them joined me. I then proceeded to go to the bathroom to make brown as I had some time to kill to wait for them. The hand drier was the same model as the one I used in elementary school, hadn't been updated since 'Nam. Upon leaving the bathroom with still wet hands I discovered my friends were still in line and hadn't ordered food yet. This was the exact opposite of fast food. Thought we made a mistake by choosing to eat inside but as we left we saw the drive thru line was 7 cars deep. I'd like to point out that the staff was very well mannered and very polite. I only ever saw 3 employees working so coming from someone who previously worked in the food industry the problem was being understaffed. I'm not sure what is going on with this Wendy's. It seems every time we go there they have next to nothing in the fountain machine. Obviously your manager is clueless on how to do ordering. 3 weeks in a row we've gone and fountain is empty. Finally go back after a month and again fountain machine is next to empty. It doesn't take a whole lot of sense if you are continually running out you need to place a bigger order. Always keep a spare bib. Expecially when if you're out of coke, you are then also out of all coke flavors. Food takes forever in this location so the expectation is you will be receiving hot fresh food....that is not the case. My husband and I both work 40- hours a week, mostly different shifts. We rarely see each other so we try to have a date night and keep it inexpensive. Wendy's is comparable to what we spend on a meal at home and out of all the fast food chains we do prefer Wendy's. This location is close to home, but I don't think we will be going here anymore unless you find a manager who can run the place correctly. We should not have to wait for cold food.
