Pizza Mia Restaurant, Bar & Breakfast — Restaurant in Manchester

I dropped by infamous Pizza Mia for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. The service was excellent and the owner even stopped by our booth to say hello and ask about the meal. We had the garlic bread as an appetizer, the Chicken Florentine pizza and a side salad. The garlic bread was good but came on its own. I would highly recommend some marina to accompany the garlic bread. I requested some olive oil instead of the marina and that sealed the deal for me. The pizza was very well cooked and plenty of toppings. My girlfriend ordered the white sangria and I ordered the Pinot Noir. The Sangria was average but the red whine was too sweet for Pinot Noir. I suggest a more mellow Italian Pinot Noir. This one tasted like a dessert wine. Wine and cocktails are key for a restaurant. Think simple and tasty. Maybe a signature drink or a couple seasonal cocktails to boost the menu. The ambience of the restaurant needs some work. Very plain. A few paintings but nothing that pops out. May want to add some décor to spice up the dining area. Maybe some of those table candles or what I commonly see these days are the mini rechargeable lamps. I most say I was Thoroughly surprised at the cleanliness, The waiting staff very pleasant and polite, and the atmosphere For a town of manchester in the middle of downtown I definitely felt like I was in an upscale restaurant ood. Not too fancy, but just enough to make me overwhelmed with joy.As I enjoyed my pizza and wings with my spouse, my lady. We had the delight of tasting The chicken wings Garlic parmesan and barbecue absolutely delightful Ask for them to cook it lightly, fried And the pizza, my oh my let me say It has been a long time since I've had pizza from a brick oven and I tell you it was worth every penny. Not only do Have a eatery and plenty of booths for parties and group gatherings. They also have a secondary side, which is behind a wall and a bar area which you can see when you walk in from the backside. Also, an outside patio, which is astonishing for such an establishment Honestly, this place is so underrated. It's unbelievable. I had such a great time. The space, the cleansiness the time and the preparation of the food ood was perfect and on time no complaints and everybody knows I will let you know if something is wrong. First review was good overall, they made a mistake on a takeout order, fixed it and all was well. Pizza and wings were good.

Tonight I ordered delivery, there was a mistake (white pizza with ricotta added as an item on a medium) confirmed that still wanted mozzarella. Mozzarella comes normally. No mozzarella. Called, was told they couldn’t make me a new pizza because I didn’t pay for mozzarella. I drove over there, been a terrible day for my family. The owner apologized and refunded my money for the pizza which I left with them.

No one knew who took my order. I should not have had to drive there. I was angry and was possibly rude. It should have been handled when I called to tell them the problem. I should not have had to get in my car. The manager called me as I was on my way there and when I told him I was 2 minutes down the road he said “Oh okay”.

The young woman was incredibly rude and it was too much, one step over in an already bad day. Of course you can fix your mistake and not keep insisting that the screen only said ricotta and that I didn’t pay for mozzarella.

The other pizza was good, but not sure if I would go back. Two for two in the mistake column...
