I have been coming to Cafe Lynn about once a year since they were in the old Burger King. By far the best restaurant in St Tammany Parish and the Northshore in general, a very good contender for top ten in the GNO area. Like a fool, of the half dozen times I've been here over the years I have never taken a photo until today and I have taken it of the unceremonious part of my meal. I wasn't particularly floored by the creme brulee or cobbler on this visit but as you can see it was not that big of a deal. I can stomach a 8/10 dessert on a 10/10 experience The crab cake Lynn is a must. The side salad with the fried goat cheese is a must. Try whatever entree and order something different next time. I like the fish almondine and the steak but if they are running something new and unique for special, full send, but it.

Cafe Lynn is accessible, one story level, spacious, classic, warm, romantically charming even for lunch. It host a small bar area with a few tables and a dining room. Would suggest reservations if you plan on eating formally. The food is southern Louisiana style dressed up. As for myself, I met my husband here for lunch. I have no complaints. The facility is clean. It’s not over crowded. It warm and charming with 10 star service. 🥈

Such a delightful experience! We came for lunch, so it wasn't too busy, and from the moment we walked in the door, the service was superb! We loved all the dishes, amd the servers were knowledgeable about their menu, which really helped us decide on what we wanted to eat. The whole plate of food was delicious, amd my wife could not stop eating the crab claws. Would definitely recommend for a nice day or night out.

The food here is fairly decent but my service at this restuarant was terrible. I ordered a large to go order for staff and when I went into Cafe Lynn to pick up my order I barely recieved any service. At the time I thought, they are busy, I understand. But when I got back to my destination with our food 3 items were missing. I spoke with the staff and because I was unable to go back I asked if there was anyway I could be comped for the items. She politely told me she would ask and call me back because aparently the rest of my order was in a brown community coffee box close to the 2 plastic bags my food was in. Just for a mental image the to go counter was cluttered with menus and various items the staff uses so a community coffe box would easily go unnoticed. If I had gotten the proper service any customer should get then I would have been told I had an additional "box" of food. I was barely told where my 2 bags of food were. After talking to the staff the owner then picked up the phone and was completely rude to the point that I counldn't talk to her anymore. She even went as far as to tell me that I should have opened each item of my food to make sure everything was there. Excuse me ISN'T THIS YOUR JOB? Point blank rude to the point that they have lost our business. All we wanted was to be able to get the food left out of our box the next time we returned but they would rather argue who is in the wrong than let us have the items we paid for the next time we return. Cafe...

First of all I don’t like writing negative reviews about local small businesses. We all make mistakes but it was my birthday, and this was not a service my husband should have paid for or a memory I should be left with. -Since it was my birthday and a colder night my husband and I thought it perfect to celebrate at cafe Lynn. We arrived at 7pm. We ordered 2 appetizers and 2 entrees. My husband got his while I waited for my French onion soup. I waited for well over 20 min. Watching my husband eat, then I received my soup and my husband watched me eat, 1h later he received his entree while I just decided I didn’t feel like eating anything any longer this late. Mind you there were only 6 other customers so there’s really no excuse to serve your clients in such strange delay between meals, especially when telling the waitress it’s my birthday and can’t wait to have the French onion soup since I am French and miss it so much. It’s a French onion soup, not like you have to go pluck the chicken or catch the fish. She seemed to be completely distracted and didn’t acknowledge a word we said or asked for. I would not choose this place to celebrate, it felt a bit like entering a dentists waiting room in France staring at white walls with blank meaningless paintings to...

I have only been able to experience cafe Lynn through waitr food delivery service because I have some minor health issues but serious enough to get the fun drugs. Lol

And I have excellent taste buds and I know good fresh food when I tast it. I called and spoke to Manager on duty Angie. She was very professional and I could hear the smile in her voice I had called to complement them on the excellent food that I have been eating

I called back and spoke to the sous chef the next day and complimented him on whatever excellent job they are doing and the caliber chefs that are coming through Café Lynn are as good if not better as the chefs that have gone thru commander palace in New Orleans Well I Just the bio on the chef and wife miss Brandi before writing this. So I know my tastes buds were right. Bravo to Shoeffle and Miss Brandi

I used to for a company maybe you hear of i Disney, in catering/banquet/convention services I know what it takes once food goes into a styrofoam tray or heating cart do you have the food present it to a customer just like it was table side and cooked al minute.

If you are anywhere in the metro New Orleans area it is worth the drive to North Shore to make reservations to eat at Café...
