Drive Thru Crawfish — Restaurant in Mandeville

I went to Drive-thru Crawfish for the first time in Mandeville today and had a very unpleasant experience. Young lady was very nice and took our order. Older lady came to window and stated my husband’s card declined. Clearly my husband has money!😂 I called him, he sent me a screenshot showing where the money was taken off his card. The purchase showed the name of the company “Drive thru crawfish for $63 and some change. The lady expressed that I talked to her like trash! I was so confused. She stated I cursed…I was on the phone with my husband. I was talking to him!! The way you’re coming at me “she said.” Lady what??? Listen, I am very serious and firm when I speak regarding my money!! I work very hard! I never disrespected this lady at all. Then, she proceeded to say she would go get her husband to handle the situation. I said, well go get him. Ma’am, I am a full grown a— Woman. Long story short, she assumed and said “ well the card declined like 3 times. Do you see the word declined??? I showed her my phone showing the purchase cleared. I said do you see the word pending?? This means the money is gone and transaction went through, but hasn’t posted to my husband’s account. I also expressed that I have experience working for a bank and understand very well what both words mean. The lady asked for my name and number in case the purchase did not clear. Okay…😂😂 It was so silly and made me feel very uncomfortable. I gave her my husband’s number instead. He was well aware of what happened. I was so glad my daughter was in the car with me. She witnessed this take place as well and tried to express to the lady I wasn’t being rude nor disrespectful. I am a Black Woman, but my money is green!!! This was my very first experience coming here and I assure you it will be my last!!💯💯💯I can’t help to wonder if I were a different color, would I have been treated differently????hmmm🤔 It’s a sad thing to see when people are so quick to judge someone based off their nationality. Truly very sad times in which we live. Lady, I truly forgive you and I pray God touches your heart to help you understand he created all mankind in his image, no matter the color! It’s time for US to change!!! This was sorely disappointing. I will take my business elsewhere. Trust and believe there will be no recommendations!! Moving forward, please make sure you have corn and potatoes for your PAYING CUSTOMERS! Have a blessed...

ZERO STARS !!! By far the worst place in St.Tammany parish. They advertise "hot" but give you cold crawfish. I use to go to the place every single day. FAITHFULLY. That was until the racist lady at the window called the police on me stating that I was drunk and playing loud music in her drive way. All of this behind me complaining about cold crawfish two days in a row prior. The very next day I was pulled over upon exiting this fabulous establishment. The best crawfish in this parish is definitely at Bayou Crawfish in Covington. Better flavor! Bigger size ! And thank God they aren't racist. I pray this...

Absolutely the best boiled crawfish I've ever had! My mom is from Mandeville and we live in Knoxville Tennessee and come down every once in awhile. Usually been going to Kenney's in Slidell, but figured I'd see what was closer for some crawfish. Price is cheaper here and Kenney knows seafood in general, but this place obviously really knows crawfish! Wonderfully seasoned with an interesting clove or allspice hint and perfectly spicy.
