After Hurricane Katrina was when I first stepped into the Red Barn Pub. At that time most trades people including myself were very very busy. This establishment offered the coldest drinks and free food until gone. For a working buisness man the place fit into my wheelhouse great. I was made to feel at home and at ease from the acquaintances/friendship connections I made there still glistening in my mind when near there. Terry and Mark were 2 of the finest people I had met at the Pub and both dedicated to their job as bartenders. Now days from time to time I go outta my way when back in The New Orleans/Mandeville area to get gat a cold one and off to another project in another place. I havent gone there steadily since 2010. Nor have I seen Terry or Mark working there as Terry wasnt working. Still has the best atmosphere of any bar in the New Orleans area and probably in the entire Southeast. I'm sure that's credit to the manager Terry and her friendly staff..... Red Barn Pub it's been 2 decades and your still providing the same great service now days, as was given to all then.......This is a place I would recommend for anyone to go out of the way to visit.
