I’ve been a couple of times during the day for a drink or two and no issues. The regulars are a Updatw: they are closed First Week of September 2025

Old: Decent group of people. Historical venue for rock and rollers still owned by Diane & Fred. (Sold 2025) Rubys Roadhouse is legend for the Old Mandeville parade as well. They do not sell food. Great little bar (with a back patio) that has amazing music. Just saw Tab Benoit at this little place a few days ago, and it was amazing. However, note to the owners: GET SOME MORE AC, CEILING FANS, ICE BLOCKS, SOMETHING TO COOL THE PLACE DOWN! Holy Cow, I was drenched in sweat, and everyone was talking about how UNBELIEVABLY hot it was. Really detracted from an amazing performance. $20 a head, and y'all can't buy a few ceiling fans? As much as I like Ruby's in many ways, I won't go back for a major performer like Tab until they manage to make...

Was a great little spot definitely loved the back patio the sun wasn't cooking you and even being so close to the road you still have privacy while being in the back. Service was amazing and when I walked up I got greeted by everyone there everyone was so nice and welcoming and inside wasn't loud you could have conversations without saying what because you couldn't hear what someone was saying.
