Warning! One of the worst food service experiences we’ve ever had. We placed our order on the kiosk and selected “pay cash.” There was a sign on the counter saying they accept cash at the counter after order is placed. We waited for a few minutes and no one came to take our cash, but the kiosk said our order had been placed. So we figured we would pay when our food came out. It was a large order for nine people in total. After several smaller groups came in, placed orders, and received food, we finally tried to ask someone about our order. Getting a human being’s attention is no small task. They worked hard to pretend that we were not there. When we finally got someone’s attention, he said the order was not being prepared yet because we had not paid. We explained that we selected pay with cash and waited for someone to come take the cash. By this time, a half hour had passed. We paid and got our order started. We were the only people in the store for the next half hour, and that’s how long it took to serve us our food - another 30 minutes!
While waiting for our food, several people pulled up to the drive-through line. The man running the drive-through told each car that their order would take more than 30 minutes to prepare. This happened several times, and each potential customer drove away without placing an order. Every time this happened, the workers laughed and even mockingly repeated the line. They were not busy, just looking for a way to get rid of customers.
When we finally received our food, we realized several items were missing. When I returned to inquire about the items, there was not a soul to be found behind the counter. We could hear the workers laughing in the back room. I called aloud for service. No reply. Louder. Still no reply. Finally, loud enough to be heard at the gas station next door. Still no reply. But I could hear them talking and laughing the whole time. I even heard them tell a drive-through customer the 30-minute line, only to see the potential customer drive away in bewilderment. We never received the missing items we paid for.
Don’t waste your time on this Taco Bell unless they are under new management and hire a completely new set...
Read moreI went through the drive-thru it was not busy I ordered two of the boxes which were 999 a piece and I substituted the drinks for frozen lemonades. The frozen lemonades were like 12 oz and they wanted to charge $349 a piece for them, by the time it was all said and done I had spent almost $30. It's just gotten a little ridiculous the price of Taco Bell used to be cheap and now it's not. That's not the number one concern. I get to the window to pay the young girl at the window had no customer service skills didn't greet me didn't say hello how was your day forget you nothing. Maybe she was having a bad day I usually don't post things negative about people but I've been in the customer service industry for 25 years I would never treat a customer this way. I waited for my food I think you're kindly for the drinks and when she gave me my food she thrust the bag out the window and then close the window on me before I could ensure that she had put the sauces in napkins I had requested in the bag. The way she just shoved the bag towards me and then slam the window was highly unprofessional. I didn't even receive the sauces I had kindly asked for at the speaker or napkins. I know I sound like a Karen and I'm not trying to. I will just never understand how in this economy especially, how anyone of any age would take a job they obviously do not like and do not care about giving a positive great guest experience when we are the ones who are the reason that they have a job. Again maybe she was having a bad day and I try to be empathetic. But this isn't the first time this has happened at the Taco Bell in Picayune. These days anyone of any age needs to be thankful and grateful that they have employment because there are so many out there that do not. Taco Bell I'm going to need you to get it together! Because you've lost a customer a loyal...
Read moreWORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! My husband was given the wrong food and didn’t realize it until he got home so I returned to the restaurant to exchange it. I got there and stood there for 5 minutes with no acknowledgement from an employee, just people avoiding my gaze. Then the employees proceeded to yell and cuss at each other because the lady working the drive thru was complaining. Finally someone asked why I was there and I explained and told them what my husband ordered. They went back to the food area and told someone else and then AGAIN the employees started arguing amongst themselves. A lady then came over to me and asked if I was getting a nachos bell grande and other items and I said no TWICE and repeated what the original order was TWICE. There was another guest there who heard me tell her I did not order nachos. Then my “corrected” food came out with nachos. So once again I had to state my order was wrong and tried to give the nachos back for the soft taco I needed. The man returned to the food line and told them that I didn’t want nachos. Where I heard the woman who I told TWICE that I didn’t want nachos proceed to talk badly about me and say that I told her that’s what I wanted and I should’ve told her that wasn’t right. I DO NOT recommend ever going into this restaurant. They are disrespectful and rude. I would honestly give negative stars...
