Beach Pizza — Restaurant in Manhattan Beach

HORRIBLE!! I placed an order for 3 pasta dishes & 1 dessert at 6:30p and was told it would take an hour. Using the mailer I was sent, I was supposed to get 1 pasta dish for free and on the flyer, it said free delivery with purchase over $25. I was quoted a price of $40+! I called back and finally spoke with a manager. He told me the prices were raised. I told him the flyer that I recently received didn't indicate that and they should honor what was sent. He then said the "free delivery" was a coupon (I don't think so-it was printed on the flyer and not part of the strip of coupons) so I was charged $3.99 for delivery and now my price was $37. I told him that was wrong and he kept asking me what I wanted to pay and I could "take it or leave it" since he was "busy". I was tempted to "leave it" but my son wanted this for dinner. I really wanted to pay what I was supposed to, not yell out a price. We finally did the math and it came out to $32.62, more inline of what it should be. 7:30p came and went as did 8p. At that point, I called to cancel and this time spoke to Ramen (?). I told him I wanted to cancel the order since it was well over 30 minutes past the delivery time. All he said was "sorry", took down my address and hung up on me. The delivery guy showed up at 8:12p, 42 minutes later than I was told. Ridiculous! Don't make statements you cannot keep. I USED to be a frequent patron, mostly take out or walk in but I will NEVER call Beach Pizza again. Their management staff is horrible and has zero customer service skills. Since they obviously don't care about their customer, I won't patronize...

The prices aren't very good but the pizza is always great. Sometimes it's hard to get them on the phone to place an order which is frustrating! Can they start online ordering directly?

Also, you have to use a 3rd party for delivery. I don't like having to do that. I've used one of their 3rd parties and it was horrible, not delivering food on my order and not wanting to refund it saying beach pizza manager wouldn't approve.

As far as staff, they aren't the most professional. They often don't treat you like you're a valued customer. You're just another drop in their bucket. If it weren't for the tasty pizza, I'd order from somewhere with less expensive pizza and with more respectful staff but they have a corner on the market here in little ole MB and I think...

Staying in a hotel for the night, a few blocks down from Beach Pizza, It was just an easy choice for a meal with 2 teenaged boys! Teens are the best judges of pizza for sure, we all were NOT disappointed! We walked right in, were greeted by a friendly female and given menus as we just sat ourselves down. It is really small, with only 4 tables, super casual - nothing for ambiance, open kitchen and they were very busy with phone orders being taken. We ordered, and within 15 minutes had the most amazing pizza, the perfect amount of sauce and toppings on a delicious crust. Their homemade italian style salad dressing is something that should be bottled and sold!! Great pizza comes with a higher price, obviously-and this place is worth...
