Calla Lilly Cafe — Restaurant in Manning

Service was very friendly. I have to give 2 stars because i felt as though we were eating at grandmas house. With plastic table covers and the horrible decor. It would have been nice if they played some music it was very quiet like a library. Food was mediocre ordered a turkey sandwich with avocado spread. There was no avocado in the so called spread . Should have been advertised as a dressing menu is very large for a Cafe. Your side dishes are served in plastic mouth wash cups. And food comes out on a paper plate. This restaurant is spending more money on paper products then on the food quality. Also the waitress brought our check right after the food was set on the table as if she was done with us. It would have been nice to eat first then she coulda brought the check later . She didn't even ask us how the food was. Also they advertise that a side dish is pretzel nuggets (meaning breaded pretzels) but it's just regular pretzels . I think this place is cool for toddlers to have a brunch party as far as a family place or lunch date definitely no . Me and my family will not return to this...

What a delightful surprise! We stopped here on our end drive back to Sarasota and discovered an absolute gem. The food is incredible - so fresh! Everything was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. The service was outstanding, the decor is adorable small-town charm, and the prices are shockingly reasonable for this level of quality. Great place to eat. All employees were extremely considerate. I had a wonderful egg and loaded bacon crusant sandwich. It came to an equal price of a quick food meal close by but was healthier. Very clean and pleasingly decorated. Customers coming into the restaurant greeted customers already at tables; small town friendliness. I loved Lily Restaurant and recommend it to anyone looking for an American experience. ...
