DONT GET ME WRONG THE FOOD IS GREAT BC THEY HAVE AMAZING COOKS STANDING ON THERE GEET OVER A HOT STOVE THE WHOLE TIME THE COOKS MAKE THT PLACE

BUT OF YOUR LOOKING FOR A JOB OR A PLACE TO DINE IN ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. THE OWNER HAS HIRED HIS DAUGHTER AN SHE IS A COMPLETELY HEARTLESS RUDE OUT OF CONTROL BULLLY THAT GETS AWAY WITH EVERYTHING!!!!

I was. Hired an told to stick by this one person an she would train me she was absolutely amazing at teaching an having patience (Cheyenne ) any ways this daughter starts to follow me around an stTt to knit pick everything was wrong nothing was ever right. Refused to let me take orders or make them how was I supposed to learn an when she did try to show me she was rude with a nasty attitude but it was like she didn’t have one an would ask why are you getting annoyed

Example she took an order from me bc I wrote the order in big letters. , then. I learned how to do the small right way an I put x2 by breast bc the lady wanted two breast witch o was making it as long as I could read it it she raised her voice told me I was wrong in front of. The customer a tried to snatch the order a refused to let me make it but I stood my ground a said I’d really like to. Go. A head an make it since I took it so I made it.

A lady ordered double Mac a cheese so on the plate obviously like any one sinse it was the biggest I pour it all in the big part well agian. Steady followed behind me ride snatched the plate took half the Mac a cheese a left half in the big part a put half in the small a was very rude. She made a different girl cry then went into the kitchen with her friends an laughed about it. She would get behind me an yell walk faster so it faster

The fourth day I came in at 220. I asked the kitchen staff was I supposed to get a new time care every week they showed me how closing her friend says I’m gonna go a head an sign out but put 8:20 at 8:15 but I’m gonna stay I said yeah me to I was gonna help put the rest of the dishes away she asked me if I made a new time card I said yes she keeps asking every time more Rude she is no manager an has no right to touch time cards but I got my card here she comes over my shoulder no you came in at 230. Yelling at me snatched the card stumbled it out changed it witch she has no right to touch my time card the whole kitchen staff said she came in 220 well you can’t sign out at 820 it’s 815 she screams I had enough I said so your friends can do it but when I do it it’s a problem I wasn’t leaving until 820. She is screaming at me still trying to change my card take twenty minutes off saying I’m scared of her an if I don’t get out she WAS GOING TO HIT ME ACROSSTHE HEAD. WITHW THE HOT MEATAL PAN. I TOLS HER IM NOT SCATED OF YOU SNATCHED MY TIME CARC NACK WROTE 220 until 817 left not before her dad comes in an just yells at me to leave don’t ask what was going on nothing. Next day I’m off I go pick my check up I’m told it just ain’t gonna work out. I was fired They had no reason no other reason but there spoiled daughter that by the way made six other girls quit bc she bully’s every one that is new an nothing is done I went to my car called her dad the owner an said i just want you to hear my side he said it didn’t matter it just was not gonna work out an I needed to leave the property right then. I get bullied threaten to be hit over the head with a hot pot an I’m fired an she didn’t even get anything said to her All she does is stand at the register or drive threw make sure that she gets to make as many plates as possible bc if you leave a tip who made it gets it so instead of training shed rather be selfish an mean an make you cry an correct you on little things that doesn’t even matter. But the fact I was threatened a the owner wouldn’t even hear it a fired me but continued to let his daughter do what ever to who ever say what ever is. Very wrong the whole kitchen had my back an said it was wrong she started ithe 1st day was warned to stay away from her she was mean an a bully but no matter how hard I tried to be away...

The food is delicious the cooks work there butt off all day a make it with all the right stuff. THE COOKS .

But if you are thinking of applying or going in to eat I’d suggest not. I worked 4 days. Called out one with a doctors excuse. But the owners of the restaurant let there daughter talk to you any way she wants she has a bad attitude a follows you around the whole time even though you were pared with a different person for training. She follows you around am Bully’s you a makes comments to try to get under your skin to make you go off.

For example one time first time taking a order I wrote it big she corrected me rippped it up an re wrote it an refused to let me make it an just bc I put a x2 by the chicken on my order it was a problem. Bc she said that would confuse her but it ment two breast an I was the one making it. She tried to take the plate from me an I finally stood up an said I took the order an can read it I want to make it

She refused to let me take orders or make plates she just yelled at me to stock the bar which was not what I was supposed to be learning. She would purposely get behind me a yell walk faster go faster.

I had a or double Mac an cheese so I put it in the big part of the tray oh no she snatched it raised her voice an took half the Mac an cheese an put it in the litttle part an let the other in the big little things

Every time I did something or turned around she was there snaching something an being very rude an wouldn’t let me doy job

Even made a different girl cry an laughed about it. Thought it was funny. Rude an heartless

But the real issue is I came in at 220 3 witnessed. At the end of the shift closing the other girl ( her friend said I’m going to go a head an put 820 it was 815 but she was going to stay until 820. I decided to do the same so it would be even she questioned me did I even fill out a time card I say yes she snatched it ( she is no manager why is she messing with my time card she crosssed out 220 put230 an said I had to write 815. So I flipped I said so the other girl can write 820 an stay but I can’t. She snatched it an re wrote 20 minutes of my time I flipped bc she was lying the whole kitchen staff said I came in at 220 I was gonna help put dishes up for five more minutes ) she SAYS IF U DONT LEAVE IM GOING TO HIT YOU OVER THE HEAD WITH THIS POT. … thteating me I snatch my time card said I am not scared of you all you do is bully everyone an get away with it she said it didn’t matter she change it when I left . The manager owner comes in the kitchen ask no questions tells me to leave

I come in the next day to get my check an am told I am fired an have to leave the property the I called the owner her father an asked if he just listen to my side he said there is no point it’s not going to work you need to leave so I lost my job because he let his daughter bully me even threaten me an I’m the one who gets in trouble an fired. When all I did was ask for my time card an change it back didn’t threaten her or anything. He lets his daughter bully thease girls 6 others quit. She is mean rude an does what ever she wants. She is petty follows you picks out the small things that doesn’t matter is mean with a bad attitude an if you cry she goes in the kitchen with the other two girls that are friends an laughs that she hurt someone’s feelings so bad she cried.

Everyone said just ignore it but four days of it an disrespect an pushing me then trying to cut my time when my time card is none of her business it’s her dadas or grandpa who ever does the checks I was told my first an second to ignore her she bully’s all the new girls even threaten me N nothing was said to her bc she’s the bossses daughter. An tgt is the truth there are about4 up front that actually care about other people a take time to train an are nice a care about how your food is handled...

Food is good southern home style type. This is probably the cheapest buffet i've been to as well and for it to be so good is crazy. im not the biggest buffet expert but yk how you go to golden corral and it's like 20 a person for some nasty low quality food ? try $10 for something your favorite grandma whips up for thanksgiving type shi. When my bf first took me here i was kinda skeptical, looks a lil outdated inside and it's just a lil small place. but i've been here a few times now and i've seen the other reviews where people complain about service and the food and i've never had those experiences at all. granted im usually not looking to have a whole conversation with my waiter or anything but they fill up the cups and are polite enough too! just how i like it 🤣 but yea they got some good baked mac and cheese like you'd eat on holidays, got some pretty good fried chicken (has been dry once or twice but i pour hotsauce on it anyway so it's not a big deal at all) some pretty good rice, gravy and field peas, barbecue is good asf i love a vinegar based sauce. hush puppies are sooo good. potato salad is a lil sweet not my favorite kind but not bad at all. always gotta add some vinegar to the collards when you eat em but yk you just gotta know how to eat it right cuz not everyone likes seasoning like that but the food is definitely far from bland. i haven't tried the mashed potatoes yet but im looking forward to it. it's a small limited buffet which is good because if they served all the stuff all the time then it probably wouldn’t be as good as it is ! it's only opened for limited hours on certain days of the week which should tell you everything you need to know. it's good asf. take ya whole family there and eat up. i also saw someone said they're prejudiced to black people? and ive never seen anything like that personally Imaooo last time i went there was some black people and mexicans in there eating but i guess mostly old white folks. but yea this one of my favorite places to go eat cheap and delicious perfect for people like me that...
