I've visited two times this week in 3 days. Great shrimp, but I prefer the tacos over the platter. Manager/franchisee: 1) reduce the $12.95 price on the platter to $11; 2) get a microphone, one speaker, for calling out orders; 3) if you are going to charge $12.95 on the Coconut Shrimp platter, add a small drink with that price; 4) add a side of coconut shrimp stand alone as a menu choice; 5) add condiment options - we in the south, folks like hot sauce and other options, and don't charge .50 for that spicy sauce.
Easy, low cost changes. And when bringing orders for dine in, because you have to walk by people waiting for pick up, seal the box - don't pass through folks in the restaurant with open boxes. Oh, and yes, I'll be back in the future, but I believe these small changes would help. There was a customer and his daughters there who also thought the coconut shrimp platter was overpriced, given the contents.
Update 10/20/25: Also ensure Chef cuts tails off shrimp. Got an order today for lunch and the tails on my tacos weren't cut off so I had to cut them first, then put them back in the taco. Get the microphone, easy fix....
Read moreWe have been to this location four times since it opened and have always loved Coco Shrimp. Unfortunately, our most recent visit was very disappointing.
The service was lacking. When we mentioned that something was missing from our order, we were met with skepticism instead of assistance. Even after confirming that all bags had been checked, we were told there was no way the item could have been left out.
More concerning, after eating, everyone in my household became sick and had to miss work and school. We later discovered the shrimp was raw in the middle. We had to stop our children from eating once we realized.
We have always enjoyed Coco Shrimp and were excited to have this location nearby, but this experience left us very uneasy. We spent close to $100 on this visit, only to end up sick. I would greatly appreciate it if someone could reach out regarding a refund or other resolution.
Thank you for your time, and I hope this feedback helps ensure no other families have a...
Read moreOur food is amazing. I mean the rice with the butter on it throws me back to when I was younger, so the food is fresh. I’m definitely something that is on my radar to go back to. As far as the noise level goes, I guess it depends on what time of the day you go because if you go when it’s busy, it is loud. I mean, you can still talk, but it is loud in there. You do have the option to sit outside, but I mean it’s gotta be because of food is so good that so many people go there so it does stay kind of busy. I’ve dined in and I’ve taken out to go only because you know I had somewhere else to go, and even dining in is comfortable suffer. There’s like a weird lip on the bench to make it a little bit difficult to get in and out from the table. I didn’t...
