Ahh!BOBA — Restaurant in Mansfield

I usually don't give reviews but the way the staff helped me with my order, I just had to leave one. Fist off, let me just say I've been trying for a while to get into Boba tea, but have had several bad experiences to the point where I just didn't want to try anymore. I saw this place next to a taco restaurant and saw the window display and decided to give it one last try. When I went in, I was a little nervous to ask for help but I just chose one I saw the picture of on the window display. But the staff was so friendly and took the time to explain what all was in the drink and gave me a lot of choices to pick from on how to make it. I finally told them the biggest issue with these drinks it because I'm lactose intolerant. The staff explain how the products they use can be switch to meet my needs. There was a non dairy option and even and option for almond milk. I was so surprised since all other places say it's non dairy but I still end up paying for it later 😒 (if you know what i mean lol). They even made a Matcha one that was more sweet than bitter since I've wanted to get on the Matcha bandwagon but could never stomach the taste. I went in that place just wanting to try one drink but end up leaving with 2 different drinks that were delicious and didn't cause my stomach any problems. DaBoba is located in Mansfield off Matlock road serving great Boba, shakes, and coffee in a modern, sleek environment.

This is 1 of 3 shops of DaBoba in the Dallas Fort-Worth metroplex. It originated in Taiwan and has shops all across the states and overseas, including parts in Cambodia, Australia, Brunei, and many more overseas locations. DaBoba in Chinese means " Hall of the Black bear," which resembles the black bear logo on the cup and interior designs inside.

As we walked in, we were greeted by the staff and placed our order for a regular brown sugar classic milk tea and an oreo shake with cheese foam. The drinks were made in a jiffy and presented to us in a beautiful plastic cup with a sealed topping and a packaged Boba straw. The drinks were phenomenal and had a tremendous amount of flavor, but yet weren't too sweet and tasted just right. The oreo Shake had a nice blend of oreos and cream, and the cheese foam made everything better with a hint of sweetness.

Overall, we really enjoyed our drinks and this location and had a great time sitting back in one of the many chairs provided, listening to soft music while playing board games that were provided. Small boba shop in Mansfield, out of many boba places that are here, I'd come back.

They have a lot of choices, like most you can adjust your ice & sugar level. She also asked if I wanted Vietnamese cottee or regular coffee in my drink. I ordered a Lilac Latte, gorgeous drink. Pretty good, if I remember it may have had taro in it. I ordered a large, decent size with a fair price.

The decor is fun & cheery. It is a small place, I probably wouldn't recommend it for big crowds as there is very limited seating. Tables & chairs are small, chairs are backless. If you are looking for a place to study, I probably wouldn't recommend it but it is a cute place to stop by with friends or in a date.

Service is amazing, they are a big factor on why I'll be a repeat customer. Super helpful, attentive, & every person I interacted with was just so nice. I sat there for a bit reading while enjoying my drink, I got there when it was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon but then more people started coming & going. They were so genuine & kind to anyone who walked through their doors, lovely to see.
