I had an awful experience here. I've come dozens of times with the family. But we had an accident with our 4year old. Employees had just mopped in front of the playroom 45 minutes before closing WITHOUT PUTTING UP WET FLOOR SIGN. We give our kids the green light to play. My son proceeds to WALK (something we constantly scold them for, so he knew to walk, not run) to the playroom door, then slips and falls HARD. We are dumbfounded and I even yell at him at first, not realizing he was standing on a huge puddle of slickness. The employee, who was cleaning hears him scream out in pure pain... and she did nothing but glance at him. We rushed to him and his head was literally bleeding. His mother consoled him and I decided to calmly tell a manager the whole ordeal and he simply shrugged at me. Which made me take pictures of the STILL wet floor with NO WARNING SIGN, right in front of the playroom. The slippery surface was unavoidable if youre going into the playroom. We left with a bad taste in our mouth and it certainly wasn't from the delicious food. Anyway we go to the one in deptford now. This was months ago and I'm still furious at this location and their handling of this situation. I probably should contact a damn lawyer at this point to see if they at least just apologize for this situation. With our family size we end up shelling out $60 everytime we go. I know that's nothing to them, but its everything to us. We expect at the very least, our kids safety to be a huge priority for them. I guess my advice is be careful going an hour before close. We saw this type of behavior from them everytime we came in the last hour theyre open, so maybe we should of been more cautious about even coming. Its like as if they wanted us to get hurt because we came at that time. So avoid this location if you and your children's safety is...
Read moreIf you want your order wrong, go to Chick-fil-A Mantua. I don’t think I’ve ever written a review and certainly not a negative one, but I was moved to do so by the chronic mis-management of this particular Chick-fil-A drive thru. Had they gotten just one order wrong, no big deal. However, today was the third time in as many months that I get home and my son’s chicken nuggets were not in the bag. My wife called to ask that on this third infraction they have the decency to actually bring the nuggets to us as we are tired of running back up there to correct their mistakes. The manager made some corporate-sounding statement about “unfortunately not being able to send the food to our house due to driver safety” even though they have delivery cars running around all over the place. This convenient, albeit false excuse is frankly insulting. The manager offered to put a reward on the app since he wouldn’t make the mistake right by bringing the food and she turned him down out of principle. He then proceeded to sanctimoniously tell her that she was the problem and unilaterally ended the call while she was still waiting her turn to get a word in. It’s truly unfortunate because this particular Chick-fil-A has been a part of our lives for years: post-soccer game meals with our kids teammates, party catering, picking up dinner when we don’t feel like cooking, etc. Unfortunately, we cannot continue in good conscience to reward incompetence and arrogance. We will continue to enjoy other Chick-fil-A’s, but this one must unfortunately be put on the no-fly list. It’s...
Read moreAbsolutely love chick fillet my grandchildren love I frequent the place .But Sewell Location is absolutely seriously dangerous with the way the line goes into a main road. And after waiting 20 minutes average could be more The order is always messed up then you have to wait again This is a for instance 8 o'clock last night was in the drive thru moved along fairly rapidly I get up to the window waited about 15 minutes at the window there was a car in front of me waiting a little ways up to the girl finally comes over asking after asking my name 5 times and says you mined pulling over there into the parking lot waiting for your food to be done ,I said to her It's only 2 sandwiches and she said there waiting for the filets to get done OK not a problem but as I sat there my vanilla milkshake I could clearly see it sitting there on the window ledge with my name ,but that could've been somebody else with the same name I don't no But the milkshake was clearly made 30 minutes before I got my food that's a bad procedure you can't blame the girls that are running because they are doing a good job and dangerous job but I do think it's poor management in that store sorry to say.. I didn't get no mustard with my sandwich and milkshake that clearly was not even cold at that point and fairly cold outside as I said this isn't the 1st time so I figured I send the little comment I have many more incidents like this cause I frequent that chick fillet check my bag every time to make sure we Have...
