I'm not sue what happened? If I was told if was under new ownership it would make a lot of sense! I have been a regular at this restaurant for over 20 years. We drive 15 or 20 minutes to get our food here. My order is always over a $100, And I never once had any complaints until recently. The restaurant Was previously run with the utmost professionalism. When I called yesterday I had to look at the phone to make sure I was calling the right place. Everything from the taking of your order to the taste and quality of the food has changed. This sushi tasted the same as usual last night very good, but the Chinese food was absolutely terrible and most of it is in my refrigerator. I can't tell you how disappointed I am as this was one of my favorite restaurants, I am definitely going to give them another shot again, but I was extremely disappointed last night. It was like ordering food from any average run of the mill Chinese restaurant, From the lady screaming At me on the phone, the $130 price tag, And the mediocre at best Chinese food.. I could have gotten better food at the buffet in...
Read moreMandarin Court and their related Tokyo Mandarin locations have chosen to suspend all dine-in service and not even offer limited seating, but then refuse to allow any dine-in only coupons or promotions to be applied to take-out orders. I understand these are difficult times, and they’re free change their policies in response, but they chose not to offer any dine-in service when other restaurants still do, and they chose not to adjust existing coupons or offer other specials as a substitute. Rather than seeing the big picture, being flexible, and enticing a new customer who can continue to give them repeat business, they have turned me off to all of their locations. I would much rather support restaurants that still work hard to take care of new and existing customers who in turn want to help...
Read moreWe have been ordering from Mandarin Court for over 20 years. We use to love their food. About a year ago we placed an order for take out. One of the items was Pork Fried Rice. It was a staple of ours. That night it was so bad. You couldn't get pass the smell. My husband who was braver than me took a bite and actually spitted it out. We didn't complain we thought everyone was entitled to an off night however we removed the Pork Fried Rice from our staple. We continued to order from them. Tonight we ordered Pork Lo Mein which in the past we enjoyed tremendously. It was terrible. It too had the smell of spoiled food. We couldn't eat it! I am so disappointed and done with Mandarin Court. I just don't understand what has happened. We will not be purchasing from them...
