Firehouse Subs Meridiana Marketplace — Restaurant in Manvel

I got the Italian sub (no tomato). The bread was pretty tough to chew, but the flavor was great, and the meats tasted fresh. They have a hot sauce rack with sauces ranked 1-10 on the spice level, so I tried the entire list. Most of them didn’t taste great or improve the sandwich 😅. If you’re looking for a serious spice challenge, this isn’t the place the hottest sauce barely had any kick (though I do eat a lot of spicy things, so maybe that’s just me).

The employees seemed emotionless 😑

Allison was such a nice young lady she was very patient and overall outstanding job the other workers Andres and Lynn were wonderful they were quick and attentive I see so many people talking about wait times and it’s like duh it takes 15 minutes to make a sandwich Carlos it’s subway but with steamers that takes longer some people are so impatient and don’t get me started with the people complaining about military discounts on here like they said they don’t have one and one for first responders you don’t got one thaisa chill out girlie but other than these negative review I will be coming back lovely staff...

Unfortunately I didn’t purchase food because customer service is important to me. I walked into the Manvel, TX, Morris Avenue location as the only customer in the lobby at that time, and as I stood there, no one greeted me at all. An older Caucasian male started wiping down the counter around the front register and still didn’t acknowledge that I was in the building. I decided in that moment to not make a purchase and left.
