An undiscovered gem! Went there with Senior Management who is unrelenting in both analysis and examination of eating places. Large dining area. You don't feel crowded even when busy. Outstanding cleanliness. Excellent service from Eme who took care of our every culinary need. Ordered the Fried Flounder Mini-Meal for $13.99. Nothing Mini about it! I had a cup of onion soup without cheese, one of 4 soup options. My decent size piece of flounder was perfectly fried. I chose 2 sides of cheesy baked macaroni which were fantastic. The meal was topped off with creamy homemade rice pudding. Our coffee, in a bit above average size cups, was good with Eme keeping it hot frequently. Senior Management chose the Chicken Francaise for $19.99 and it met approval without reservation. Substantial portion, soft chicken, tasty sauce, served with a pasta of your choice. Chicken noodle soup preceded the main course. Senior Management is the Potentate of Pudding. The homemade tapioca pudding met the rigorous standards. Plenty of parking. Easy access. Family run. You can tell it's well managed since they emphasize quality food, superior service at popular prices. Senior Management summed it up best, channeling Gen. MacArthur in the car on the way home by saying, "I shall return."
September, 2024 - New review. Was given a day off by Senior Management last week, so I ran some errands and had a late breakfast at the The New Maple Hill Restaurant in Maple Shade. It's under new management. My meal and service were better than ever. I was excellently served by Lynn and ordered just a side of creamed chipped beef and coffee. Both were top notch. The base of the creamed chipped beef was house made. The generous amount of beef was sliced large, thin and cooked until soft. They had fish and chips on the menu, but were sold out by 1. Their fish is served fresh which is quite impressive for any restaurant, especially a diner. You can find their daily specials on their website which is linked to their Facebook page. Senior Management is in for a treat the...
Read moreNot only is the food absolutely delicious, but I recommend the restaurant 1,000% simply because of the kindness of the staff. My phone ran out of power while I was in the area, so I couldn't get a ride home, and after walking around in the snowy weather for about an hour, I happened upon this little friendly-looking restaurant. I told the man at the front table that my phone was dead, and he immediately asked me to hand it to him so he could charge it. I sat down at a booth and he immediately offered me water. While they would have let me sit there as long as I needed without ordering anything, I decided buy lunch while I was there. The sirloin I ordered was amazing, and the sweet waitress gave me an ice cream sundae with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and a cherry, even though the menu listed strictly ice cream. They allowed me to sit there until I could get an Uber home. What a gem of a little place, as well as...

Our first visit here today started because of their online menu showing gluten-free options. The place was incredibly busy but we were seated immediately.
The friendly hostess welcomed us and informed us that they’d be closed for the next 4 days for remodeling.
The dining room does get noisy which affected my daughter’s hearing aides which were already turned all the way down. Keep the noise in mind if that bothers you. It’s a typical situation for small, locally owned eateries so it’s not a negative at all.
See photos for our plated orders: Pancakes, Pasta & Meatballs, Gluten-free BLT wrap, and Patty Melt.
The food came out perfectly and tasted great!
