Blimpie — Restaurant in Maplewood

My recent visits to this Blimpie outlet have left me thoroughly disappointed. The pricing here is absolutely outrageous, with additional charges for basic items like cheese and combo deals that are unjustifiably high. I've found better value and quality at other sandwich chains in the area, making the pricing here seem utterly unreasonable.

Moreover, the service quality is abysmal, with the older lady in charge showing blatant disregard for basic health and hygiene standards. Her discourteous behavior and lack of consideration for customers' health concerns are alarming. It's a shame that this establishment doesn't seem to prioritize cleanliness or customer satisfaction.

Considering the recurring negative experiences and the apparent lack of concern for basic service standards, I would strongly advise potential patrons to look elsewhere for their sandwich needs. This Blimpie location clearly needs a thorough reassessment of its pricing policies and service standards before it can even begin to compete with other local sandwich shops.

Absolutely the WORST blimpie I've ever been to. The woman at the counter does not rush to come back to the counter when she hears theres a customer. Despite the fact I had been waiting, she decided to help the person behind me with his sandwich not even asking if I needed another one. Kept asking the same question over and over and seemed like she didnt understand English very well since she didnt follow anything I asked for until it was in her hand and I either pointed at the sandwich or didnt.

I normally hate these kind of reviews but this is not even close to our first incident there. I didnt even bother getting the correct sandwich or the other half of my order. I'd rather be hungry until dinner than spend another second trying to explain to this woman how to...

Wow Blimpie! Didn't know it still existed. What a treat. This past Thursday evening I walked into the store, the only person on deck was scrubbing the floor and no one else was behind the counter. I waited, and waited, and waited, while she continued to scrub the vestibule at the entry. 😏 Seconds turned into minutes, perhaps 6 but who's counting. I'm taking one for the team, hell I really wanted a Blimpie aka sub aka hero. Blimpie's makes them like no other. Deal breaker was when the young woman finally acknowledged and addressed me, she didn't wash her hands, remove her gloves, nothing. Not even an attempt! Womp,womp...I politely told her never mind and proceeded over to their shared and sunken space ... Dunkin Donuts. Huge exercise in futility. And was starving....
