Been there twice, first time was enjoyable with a friend from work, the bartender that used to work at the station who was excellent, not sure of her name but she's a really a good bartender, I was happy to see a familiar face but on my second time in there I met up with the same friend and another friend we were sitting at the bar with the same bartender from the station, no complaints there, she provides excellent service, then my wife and my friends wife met up with us so we got a table and that's where we met Hannah.. she came to check on us two times then the third time she came around to our table we were ordering food and out of nowhere. she told us she was changing servers and asked if we wanted to know why wail raising her voice and rolling her eyes with us saying that we were being rude to her and proceeded to scold us like we were children, we were dumbfounded over the situation we had no idea why she was scolding us I thought the customers are supposed to be treated good, The way she conducted herself was very unprofessional I asked to speak with the manager and she Right away applied that the manager was already on his way to speak with us because of how you were behaving supposedly.. The manager came off seeming like we were doing something wrong, we explained to the manager what happen, he seemed like he did not really care, nor believe what we have to say, unfortunately I didn't get his name, all I know is he had red hair. me my wife and my friend and his wife had already ordered food but at that point the mood was kind of ruined due to the manager and Hanna kept staring at us like they're doing something wrong so we decided to take our food to go because we felt uncomfortable still have no idea why she thought we were being rude I did nothing inappropriate and said nothing rude nor did my friends the only thing I could think of is that messed up on our drinks order twice and maybe she was trying to cover...
Read moreVisited on a Sunday afternoon. We were promptly greeted. The decor is cute, but the majority of the tables are tall bar tables and the chairs are not comfortable at all— even at 6’2” my son’s feet didn’t touch the ground and the spot to rest your feet is awkward. We were greeted by our server promptly and water was always full. The menu had a lot to choose from. We opted for burgers and appetizers. The “goons” (mushrooms) had a nice batter that was crispy, however biting into the mushroom it was like a bunch of mushroom water with no other real flavor. It was a good amount, but I didn’t really want to finish the mushroom water bombs. The onion rings were TOP NOTCH! Definitely made in house. The batter was crispy and had great flavor. The onion rings were thick cut and held up very well! Even the onions had great flavor! These were hands down the star of the show! Our burgers arrived without any option for level of done-ness. The side salad was a plate of romaine lettuce with some powdered Parmesan. I was not impressed with the salad, I felt like a rabbit. The ranch dressing was either made in house or at least not from a powder mix with water. It was a good ranch dressing! The burger was very thick! The bun held up well to the level of condiments and extras. The burger had nice seasoning. It tasted good enough, but the texture reminded me of the bricked/frozen patties. The veggies on the burger were fresh and good quality! The overall atmosphere was missing something. There was just this flat affect from the servers/hosts. They did what they needed to but there was no joy or interaction. To me the food was probably a B and I was really looking for the service to kick it over the top and earn an A rating. I had a better conversation with the wall I was sitting near than any of the staff. Thankfully the rest of my group...
Read moreLong review ahead, but worth it to save yourself a fine! Ok so first I want to say, the service was amazing! The bartender was attentive and nice and the same with our waitress. Now the problem we had was a little odd. We decided to sit outside for 6 of us and a toddler, because there wasn’t any tables inside, the hostess gave us options of a large table a little away from heaters or a smaller one right in front of the fire. No problem there. While waiting for our waitress to come out, we decided to move to another table and actually combine 2 tables closer to the heaters… well little did we know that was a huge NO-NO! Our waitress came and went atleast 3x with no issues, about 30min later the really nice bartender came outside to inform us, his manager called (after watching the cameras) and saying there’s $100 fine for moving the tables! Apparently there is a rubbed out written in chalk sign on the window stating this. Mind boggled! I must say this is the first bar/grill/restaurant we’ve ever been to that doesn’t allow you to move tables. But to try to charge $100 fine for it! And to top it off, the bartender had no idea there was a fine for moving tables! The bartender was really nice about this whole situation. For the restaurant, if it’s really a big deal to not move tables, maybe have signs on all the outdoor tables, that are visible and permanent to all customers. And to the manager, be thankful I chose not to be petty and request your physical presence to discuss this issue in person because your bartender is such a great guy. I wish I could rate on different scales, so the bartender and waitress we dealt with could get their 5 stars...
