Probably my last time here. Sometimes the coffee is perfect and very hot where the cardboard sleeve around the cup keeps my fingers burning. Other times the coffee is only warm/sortof hot. Today was just very strange: There were many cars in the drive thru which I equated to holiday weekend which is fine. I finally pull up to the window and my favorite barista (dont know her name but she is always very friendly to me) said for me to pull into a parking spot as the pike coffe is cold and that they were brewing me a fresh pot. Ok, great, actually a few more minutes wait is fine. So another person comes out with my coffee a few minutes later and said, "here u go this was from a fresh pot.". Yet she walked across the parking lot to me with no cardboard sleeve. And yes, sure enough coffee is yet again just warm. I just dont understand what is happening there. How could it not be burning hot if it was just brewed? If youre a coffe house, and Starbux is, if u cant consistently get me a hot cup of coffee every time, ill take my business elsewhere. Starbux, can u contact me? I really like your coffee but Im just confused. Thank you
Let me first start by saying I love Starbucks. I caved to the 'man' the moment it made its way to Marble Falls. There are other independent, local purveyors for coffee (good coffee) here but the convenience and known comfort (and preparation of my favorite beverage) is what keeps me coming back- but I am almost at the end of what I consider a very long rope. For the last several months (nearing a year) the service has been passing at its best- lamentable, laughable at times and terrible at its worst. They have cycled through a range of employees. There were several who were completely on their game: friendly, speedy, and had the ability to craft the quality drinks Starbucks is known for... I miss these guys! The employees these days are slow and seem genuinely disinterested in whether or not you get what you need or even like your beverage. It is unlike Starbucks to run such a loosey-goosey operation. Almost every day of the week my co-worker and I order coffee. Sometimes we get what we order and sometimes it is something completely different, They never offer a drink carrier, never put stoppers in the cups or even ask. This morning I arrived at 7:25 to the drive-thru; and ordered a very simple order. Granted, I was sandwiched in the line and so dependent on who is before me in line, but I left at 8:02. It should not take close to 40 minutes to get a coffee in a drive-thru. I'm not sure if they need to hire more folks or just tighten up the ones they have, but...
Read moreI just placed an order through the app at this location and was about 10 minutes away. Traveling with my family, with 4 young children, and my daughter needed to go to the bathroom. When we arrived we discovered the doors were locked and they were not letting anyone inside. I asked if my daughter could use the bathroom and the man working the mobile orders refused. We waited another 5-10 minutes and our order was still not ready. When I went back to check on how long it would take, before I had even said anything, the man working the door started fussing at me that it’s corporate policy right now that customers can’t use the bathrooms and about how busy they were today. He was INCREDIBLY rude and argumentative before I even said ANYTHING!! And it was so unnecessary!! I was simply trying to figure out how much longer on the order and he got SUPER argumentative and rude. I’m a mom of 4 just trying to make sure my child doesn’t have an accident and he had ZERO compassion!! I was just trying to figure out how to get my child to the bathroom as quickly as possible. This is the WORST experience I have ever had at any Starbucks!! Regardless of how busy they were today, it’s never okay to treat your customers that way! A little kindness and understanding...
