We came here a few weeks ago for some Pho. It was pretty good so we decided to try some of the other dishes. The first time we came the Pho was good but this most recent time, the other dishes were tried were "okay" at best. We ordered the house egg rolls. When we got home, and we only live a few minutes away, they were almost cold. They actually tasted as if they had been sitting under a heating lamp, but definitely not fresh. I asked the person handing me the food if they had any hot mustard. The reaction on his face told me he has been asked this many time before, but they didn't and only offered me siracha in a packet. Seems if they can have siracha, hot mustard wouldn't be that hard to get in packets. We also ordered the Chicken Fried Rice. It was supposed to come with carrots and peas; there were some very think julienne carrots but no peas. Not even one. I don't know what chicken they use, but it's flavorless and the rice is basically plain tasting. We tried the Lo-mein with chicken and Pad Thai with Chicken. They use a flat noodle and not a traditional lo-mein noodle. It came with the vegetables (broccoli, peppers, bok choy and mushrooms. They advertise "whole green peas" but there were none. There might have been two or three pieces of bok choy and we only saw one piece of mushroom. The other veggies were saturated from sauce. The Pad Thai wasn't a lot better and in both dishes, it's the same chicken as the fried rice. Just very bland and chewy tasting. Not very fresh chicken. If this rating was based upon the other food, I would have given two starts, but the Pho was okay.

We stopped by the Simply Pho House after visiting the marble falls pumpkin patch with the youngsters. We are picky about our Vietnamese food since our best friends are chefs from there. We saw some reviews that were high. The restaurant has a typical Asian décor with aquarium, flowers, water art, etc. There were three adults and four kids in our group. They sat us immediately with good spacing between tables. The boys and I ordered a plain salad to share. It was really good if a regular salad can be good. The veggies were sliced neatly, arranged nicely and the sauce was delicious. I had the spicy chicken Bun. I have eaten Bun around the world and I will say this was fantastic. The proportions of the ingredients were just right. My wife had Tom Kha soup which was amazing also. The sheen on the broth indicated a well prepared recipe. It was a large bowl. My son had beef Pho. It was great. My nephew had sesame chicken. The chicken was crispy on the outside, softened with a sauce, and tender inside. My only gripe was the iced teas was watered down. I mentioned it to the service lady. In minutes, she had fresh brewed tea for us that was very good. Her pleasant attitude and smile, plus always ready to refresh items made the service top notch. We will go back to this restaurant again when we visit from Georgetown. This is a marble falls gem. Way to go folks.

This is a great little spot for pho and Vietnamese cuisine staples. We found it on a random Google search and wanted something different than typical Texas fair. This nailed it for us. It was a cold 30s evening also so something hot was more desired. The place was about average business when we got in at 530pm. We got seated quick and had orders taken quickly also. I got the Thai Basil entree with chicken and steamed rice plus a bowl of my go-to tom yum soup with chicken. My wife got the large beef pho bowl. We were shocked how quick they had our plates out to us. 10 minutes tops I'd guess. The food was terrific! I ate all my food (I was starving also) and my wife only had her pho broth left but she took it home with us as it was that good to waste she said. Our whole order with 2 drinks was under $50 with tax included. So it's quite affordable as well. This is now a highlight spot for us when in town for a good alternative cuisine selection.

NOT vegetarian friendly. We came for pho, but all their vegetable pho was made with chicken broth and they do not have veg broth, so we decided to order from their Thai menu. what an insult to the cuisine. We called ahead and we asked the server many times if the food could be made vegetarian, without certain ingredients. They said yes. They brought us the noodles with zero sauce, not even soy sauce. just plain noodles. They did not give us a heads up that it would be plain. The red curry was so disgusting, it was watery and bland and very sweet. there were no fresh herbs and the only vegetable was onions and a few slivers of bell pepper. We literally had to send it back. They still charged us for it. Never coming back, this is not a good place for desi vegetarians. They're disrespectful and the staff lied to us about the quality of the food and even said certain dishes were vegetarian but then changed their answer once we asked about specific ingredients (fish sauce, oyster sauce, chicken broth). Don't come here. I'm usually a very respectful and polite customer and I never bother to leave negative reviews especially for small businesses but the food was SO bad and SO disappointing and the service was not good enough to make up for it that I just had to leave a review to warn y'all. I'm sure their non-vegetarian dishes are fine but this is not a good place for anyone who eats plant based. Make sure to double check with them that whatever you're ordering doesn't have chicken broth because they seemed to think their soup was vegetarian until we specifically asked... it's time we stopped tolerating incompetence from restaurants when it comes to honestly telling their customers about what's...

I would rate this less than a star if I could. My wife and I were seated at the bar, given menus and asked, what would you like to drink. We placed our drink orders, the server stated he would have our drinks out shortly and proceeded to the kitchen. 10 minutes later, who we perceive to be the owner and or manager, approached us, asked for our drink order again, to which he replied, we are currently out of that product, what else would you like to drink? Before we could reply, the phone started ringing, he turned around, answered the phone and started taking an order from the phone. While my wife and I were waiting for the manager/owner to return from the phone, we overheard the server speaking to a single customer complaining about her order being wrong. The server apologized , said he would replace her meal and proceeded to the kitchen. The owner/manager noticed the server returning to the kitchen with the unacceptable meal, intercepted the server, and began to interrogate the server. Apparently, the server made a mistake, received a scolding from said manager/owner , the manager/owner apologized to the customer all the while my wife and I sat in disbelief at the unprofessionalism being displayed . Needless to say, my wife and I decided to leave the establishment and take our business elsewhere. Unprofessionalism is never acceptable and you, owner/manager should treat your employees with compassion and respect. Especially when he recognized his...
