Best Subway ever!!! Our daughter has food allergies and although we follow allergen menus and guidelines when dining out, it nearly always falls apart once it gets down to the "handling" of her food. It became so common that we just stopped going out to eat because nobody handling the food seemed to take her severe allergies seriously. But then....then, we decided to stop by Subway. Not just any subway. This subway. Every single person on the line took her allergies VERY seriously and they spoke to her (7 years old) like a human while she ordered HER OWN food, so that she can learn to advocate for herself. This was not a one time occurrence . We have been back several times, almost weekly at this point, and no matter who is on shift, they consistently treat the handling of her food with the utmost of care. We have been to MANY other Subways since our first try here and none compare. It is so refreshing to not be met with avoidance, heavy sighs, or just outright argumentative, dismissive employees. The biggest thing that makes them above the rest is their outgoing, kind, and patient demeanor towards a child who is no stranger to being treated as an inconvenience. Stopped in here on a Friday night with my daughter. I was the only customer in there but stood and Waited in line to be helped because all of the clerks were making online orders I’m guessing? While I’m waiting, my daughter needs to use the restroom which is behind a closed door down the hallway. I come back, STILL wait for my order to be started (I’m still the only customer in store), but clearly online customers are more important than the one standing in front of you. Its okay, no worries, I’m next. A few more mins go by without my order taken and I tell her I just have to grab my daughter from the bathroom so she doesn’t walk out the other door. I come back literally moments later to a line of 6 people. Do you think they would have had the common courtesy to let me place my order since I just stood there for 10 minutes without being helped? NOPE. they let every single customer who arrived after I did be helped before me. So I just skipped this rude mess and went across the street to Which Wich! YUM! Plenty of other places...
Read moreWell I always enjoy subway... But this first time visit here the attendant told me what I'd like... I told him I wanted the #7 Mexicali, everything on it... I was on a phone call for business and didn't think they'd need to tell me much more since it's ingredients are in front of them. They tell me if I'd like anything else. I said just mayo and extra baja chipotle without realizing... This guy didn't add ANY vegetable that goes into the Mexicali sub... Like... Am I supposed to tell this teenager what goes in it??? He could've looked behind him and see what it says there... And yet still charged me for the #7 Mexicali... Like why charge me that when you didn't make it the way it's supposed to be.
BTW I didn't realize he didn't add veggies until after I got to my hotel... 🤦🏽♂️ My fault for not paying attention after I tell them a subway that they should know...
