Went in for a experience since I’ve always seen this place just never actually went in. My insight for the over all place was a nice atmosphere. Only problem and this was a big problem for me, was for 1 the severs acted kinda to upper class like one lady sitting there eating pan de bono in the front register. Had the two youngings doing all the work and yet they were arguing themselves (one was ready to go home the next wanted him to do the remain of her own work). Then I placed my order also asked what size does the salpicon come in, they all showed me this giant cup size which was decent for the amount I paid okay cool. Waited, waited & waited till I finally had to ask again may I have the juice now, she was like yes wow I forgot. Hands me the glass cup which definitely was not the size of what they showed me. Also then I have to say I seen Uber eats come in and of course the Uber guy checks the food before leaving and I seen the way and amount that was giving to them. Well my same order as Uber came out and I’m like where’s the rest of my stuff. They all started with oh that’s the cook and we’re not gonna mess with her like she was about to punish them. Made no sense 20 dollars for bad service, bad food, especially the cook and the way she spoke which I could hear her. Then this is were it got so left field, then I have the waiter giving me a phone to cal whom then call Abuela, and she didn’t even want to say not one word to me. She yelling on the phone like them, moral of the story is the food wasn’t all that greasy as heck and the service was just foul. Not worth my time or stress for their business. I’ll talk my money else where rather than here where they don’t even care for the customer more for themselves and the little coins they’re making. If you want real authentic food look up another place this place is just a generic ...
Read moreWe used to come here often. Delicious food but yesterday really upset me when we went there for dinner... we all asked for our plates and my girlfriend got churrasco, which it was bad, smelled picho and tasted terrible sourly like old nasty steak. They were so sorry, they smelled it too and agreed with us. Only 3 bites out of the steak, They asked us for whatever we wanted to changed it for, well my girls appetite changed and she just asked for a plain grilled chicken. When it was time for the bill, they grabbed our card, didn’t bring the check, and then when I asked for the check they were nervous, well, On the bill they charged us for the meat that was bad and their excuse was, “at least we didn’t charge you for the chicken” seriously? I’m not cheap but is the point of customer service. Not happy and unfortunately we won’t be coming back there. Really sucks because it was convenient for us and we never had a problem in the past. We never complained about their lack of waiters and having a second person to help out or even how late we had to wait for our drinks and food. We always leave good tips 15% to 20%. It is unfortunately that 1 time the food is bad and we were fine with the embarrassment but their customer service at that time was horrible. And to clarify their mistake, we were not looking for free food we just wanted to get charged for what we ate. I’m sure there was a difference between the steak and the plain chicken. And we even left a $9 tip....
Read moreFood was mediocre but admittedly not what I'd normally eat. Atmosphere was pretty good and lively colors. Unfortunately, unless you speak Spanish you're on your own. Service was relatively ok but again, nothing to be proud of. My absolute biggest issue is upon paying. We have a language barrier and I wasn't given a receipt prior but blindly handed my card over then asked for a receipt as she seemed reluctant to give me 1 in the first place. I then realize they already included an 18% tip on my $41 dollar bill. I was not made aware prior to paying and tipped an additional 18% meaning I tipped a percentage of my own tip totaling 36%. The server would not correct it, then reached out to her manager via phone whom also agreed nothing could be done. Eventually I was given a smaller percentage of the tip back via funds in a tip jar (server was not happy about it as if I was taking from her tips? Makes no sense). You'd think they would tell you tip is included or atleast print a bill prior to paying to give an opportunity to the customer to see for themselves. Seems like a real shady way to get dbl tips as it is hard for me to imagine this was done unintentionally based on the circumstances. For this reason, among others, this will be my one and only visit to this...
