I have been a loyal customer of this store for many years and I had always given them excellent reviews but today something happened that makes me think that I will not order food from this store never again. I order a Delivery by Uber eats today. I'll start by explaining that he always ordered the same dish, the bowl steak. . On weekdays they have this special until 4 pm which is obviously a smaller portion and costs less. They also have the SUPER BOWL STRAK which is a larger portion and obviously costs more money. Today I ordered the SUPER STEAK BOWL AND WHAT I RECEIVED AT MY HOME WAS A LUNCH PORTION. What's more, I could tell you that what I received was much less than what I normally eat for lunch. I decided to call the store and talk to the manager to explain the situation. And absolutely nothing happened. They don't care. I talked to a woman who just listened to what I said but didn't offer to make amends for the mistake they made. These large restaurant franchises tend to think that customers don’t matter because they have many customers. But it is disrespectful. I understand that inflation is affecting us all but I am also going to tell you that so far this year this dish has had an increase of 4 dollars or more per serving. I’m very disappointed. Keep in mind that I have been going to this store for more than 10 or 12 years, if not more. I had already had a couple of situations with this restaurant that I had not liked and I had overlooked them because I understand that we are not talking about something 5 stars restaurant . Food quality has gone down, smaller portions of everything and a ridiculous price hike (they even try to charge for sauces). On top of that, the rude and horrible customer service. A little tip to management, if business is bad maybe shouldn’t have like 8 people standing around doing nothing. They sure don’t take care of the customers so not sure what they are paid to do.
Update Aug 15, 2022: After Nine months of not coming here, thought we would give it another chance but as expected they continue to disappoint. The food quality has also decreased. The ceviche has a weird taste and very rubbery. The fried fish is not cooked well enough.
They continue to increase their prices now surpassing higher quality regular sit down restaurants. There are plenty of other options to go to in the area instead of over-paying for a fast food restaurant with many locations in South Florida. Maybe because it was mid-afternoon and there was a lull in the kitchen, but I must say I was disappointed with the steak combo meal I left with. It was not as generous a portion as I am used to; the steak was dry; the onions undercooked, and maybe it was because I had a cold, but the yellow rice and large order of chicken soup I also had, were basically flavorless. It did smell amazing and I was looking forward to my meal, but for what I spent, and what I got, I'm not sure I'll return.
