Jin Jin Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Marianna

I have been dining at this restaurant on and off for over 20 years. Hence the reason I have decided to give them 3 stars. Their food and customer service has unfortunately gone nothing but downhill. The COVID virus, in my opinion, has become what I refer to the nail in this once very decent Chinese restaurant's coffin. I recently gave them one last shot, in an attempt to hopefully be shown that they are trying to build back up their standards, but I was left feeling even more unimpressed with the whole experience. I not only got well below mediocre food, but along with that my whole order was wrong and I received food I didn't order and did not get what I paid for. Upon trying to get my order fixed I ran into some language barrier that I have never ran into before, ironically with a person that I know speaks English very well. Okay, first I want to say that the food was pretty okay, not amazing but also as the just covered in salt, so that's a positive.. I thought that the customer service was not great, I think the owners son took my order and Looked like he would rather be on his phone. Let's talk about the clenliness of the Dinning area. The tables were filthy, holes in walls, furniture taped together , dust and grease on everything, and stuff splattered on the wall. My husband had a hard time eating and he is from a third world country... we didn't even look into the bathrooms lest we physically were unable to eat our food. Prices were pretty high for what you got... people in this town must have terribly low...

It was actually gross. I had made a trip through Mary Esther specifically to eat at Jin Jin's with my family since we were on vacation. I was stationed there in Mary Esther about 10 years ago and Jin Jin's was absolutely delicious. I had this memory of it being so amazing. For 10 years I was telling my family how amazing this Chinese restaurant called jin Jin's was. So then it was exponentially more disappointing when I showed up there with my family to finally get to taste it and it was worse than other chain Chinese food restaurants.
