Second Review: March 2025 – Went through the drive through and ordered a Santa Fe Chicken combo. I was very disappointed when employee asked me, “Do you want medium or large?” She asked this question as though those were the only choices, completely ignoring the fact that each option had an upcharge. This is misleading to the customers and just feels dishonest. The sandwich was tasty but not very warm, and neither were the small fries. Total cost for this meal with no upcharges was $12.49. First Review: I visited the drive through at Carl's Jr. in Maricopa on a Thursday morning around 7:30 a.m. It’s one of the drive throughs with two lanes. There was a car in the first lane so I drove up to the second menu board. As soon as the first customer placed their order, the voice came over the speaker to take our order. I ordered a Monster Biscuit sandwich, a Loaded Breakfast Burrito and a large order of Hash Rounds. The total was $17.47. It took a couple minutes to serve the vehicle in front of me, then it was my turn. Again, it took a couple minutes before I received our order, but when I got home, it was still hot and fresh. After leaving the drive through window, I saw a sign on a window advertising two for $5 for breakfast sandwiches. I really wish I had seen this before placing my order. I don’t know if I passed this on my way in, but this was definitely not advertised on the menu board in the drive through. My wife ate the Monster Biscuit Sandwich, I ate the Loaded Breakfast Burrito and we shared the Hash Rounds. She said the sandwich was ok but not great. I think that I would have liked it more than she did. When I bit into the burrito, my first bite was nothing but tortilla and onions. Luckily, that was the only bite that was overwhelmingly onion-filled. Overall, the burrito was OK but not great. It was not very big and after finishing the burrito and half of the Hash Rounds, I was still hungry. For that kind of money, it’s disappointing to have an OK meal and remain hungry after eating it. We’ve had better experiences with the regular (not breakfast) menu, so that’s what we’ll stick to in the future.

Please don't even patronize this place. Another Maricopa dud of a fast food restaurant. I had to repeat my order several times at the ordering board. When I get to the window they hand me a drink that I did not ask for. I had to ask ranch sauce twice, and when I got home I got ripped off on the food. Literally not even a handful of zucchini and I asked for three chicken strips. Its like they handed me three cast off pieces of chicken. There wasn't even any chicken underneath the breading. It was all breading and what chicken was there wasn't even cooked underneath. You got to be kidding me. I should have known better to even go there. I paid $12 for this.

They need to turn off doordash/food delivery until they get their cook times down faster. I get it, they're new but it takes 20+ minutes to get your order. Drive thru seems faster, in person inside, delivery or to go is long. They also request a doordash before they start making the meal. They should request a dasher when the meal is done or almost done. These receipts sit here and they start cooking when you arrive.

So back in August 2024, I believe they very recently opened, I ordered a delivery that was canceled. The reason I was given was that they ran out of lettuce only to find out that that was a lie. I am a diabetic so everything is keto style so I always order everything with lettuce wrap instead of a bun. I was able to contact the general manager at the store and after a week of back and forth contacting each other this was peacefully resolved, but I wanted to make sure that the GM understood that I am trying to help her avoid future issues with that unit and she needs to get these issues resolved quickly because you just opened this unit and you do not want to start having problems with your crew. This was one of several smaller issues that I have encountered thru now into December 2024 so something is clearly wrong. The crew is very young and as many of us know that can be a big part of their problem. It’s too bad that this is happening. I always felt that there burgers at this level are no doubt the best in my opinion but they appear to be having many issues and they need to look their training the hiring process. As I mentioned earlier I have had several problems with the crew but it would take too long to mention all of them. I had unfortunately become our last resort to go to any more. Stop trying to figure out why you are not getting the business that you thought you were going to get when your problems are right in...

Tragic. Absolutely TRAGIC that this store has failed so greatly in its return to Maricopa. Took 15 minutes ONLY to PLACE my order. The cashier kept asking for help and kept getting sent to take orders to waiting cars and had to (for some reason) take a break. My order was (famous star, western, shake, poppers and fries) easy. Took another 20 minutes to receive my order. I got to see MANY impatient customers. Sadly many food delivery people were waiting just as long (or longer) for their order.

Milk shake was insanely terrible. Western was tragically bad. Famous star was delicious. Poppers were good. Strips were old and burnt. Tragic. There is no “deal” that can get me to return to this location. The employees were incredibly overwhelmed. They kept apologizing to customers. So much so that people were more mad to keep hearing “I’m sorry” than anything. The employees were completely incompetent.

**HEADS UP ……. As I waited I was able to observe that drinks are made and set on a counter as soon as the order is placed (online, in person, drive thru). So I got to see milk, shakes, fountain drinks sit at the counter a minimum of 20 minutes before they were given to customers. I don’t understand who thought it a good idea to prepare drinks and set them out before the food is even...
