Food is good. My 3 stars are solely for the food. But the wait is killer. I've been 3 times since opening. The first 2 times, I expected long waits since it's a new restaurant in Maricopa and there was going to be some hype. But after waiting 45+ minutes each time, we decided to wait until we can place online orders and pick up when ready, instead of sitting in the crowded restaurant space twiddling our thumbs for THAT long. To our surprise, we noticed the online ordering was available. Do not trust it. It said our food would be ready in 20 minutes. Sounds great. I show up after 25 minutes. They told me my food was still cooking. I sit down. Twiddle some thumbs. After 15-20 minutes I start to get frustrated, but I figured that maybe they are still getting used to online orders coming in. Whatever. I continue waiting. Then I hear them call an order number that was 4 numbers after mine. I was like ugh. OK. Maybe they had less items (we had 2 orders of noodles, some spring rolls and some chicken bites). I wait. Then I overhear a lady next to me, tell her husband they were 15 numbers after mine. They get their food. Now I'm upset. 15 orders/numbers AFTER me and they get their food?!? THEN a gentlemen that walked in after I got there, who had placed their order right then and there gets his order. Which was 2 bags worth, gets his meal! And that's when I've had it. I stood up to just have them cancel my order and refund me because thats ridiculous. But, weirdly enough, they called my name at that moment. All in all, it took them an HOUR to fulfill my order after I had placed it. And they were 40 minutes late on when I was told to pick it up. I will continue to avoid this place at all costs until I know for a fact, I won't have to wait more than 25-30 minutes for a couple...
Read moreI stopped by Thai Chili 2 Go last Thursday on my lunch break. I was riding around Maricopa looking for something to eat—I've never been on this side of Arizona, so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Something told me to pull into Thai Chili 2 Go, and wow, I’m glad I did.
I started with the veggie spring rolls and the Tom Kha Gai soup, and let me just say—for a chain restaurant, they really nailed the flavor and feel of authentic Thai food. For my entrée, I went with the Pad Thai and the Panang Curry. Both were so good.
The general manager, Dayson Sweetheart, was incredibly helpful and attentive. What a charming young man—I genuinely hope he goes on to live a full and wonderful life. The only hiccup during my visit was that they were out of Sprite, but Dayson went above and beyond. He actually ran over to a nearby Marshalls and got me one himself, just so I could enjoy my meal exactly how I wanted it. That level of care is rare.
All in all, I’m really glad I decided to stop in. I’ll...
Read moreI usually avoid places that open in Maricopa for a few months until the hype dies down but decided to swing by while out with my kids. Warm greeting, only one person ahead of me for ordering but 6 people waiting for food. Ok, it's somewhat busy. While waiting, I notice a lady that keeps standing around waiting, asking about her food and keeps being told two min. (Without anybody actually checking) Her son comes up to the counter and advises it's been 20+ min and they have all finished eating while his mom hadn't. The kids now days aren't very in touch 😂 two girls are just blank staring, nobody seemed overly concerned then here comes the "GM" with lack luster empathy and says two min 😂🥴 Nothing at all was offered just a " we're busy" 😔 🙄 😔 They absolutely should've refunded her order but of course not. My one bowl of food took 26 min. Great food but why is there 20 employees and minimal communication or drive. 20 employees should have been knocking out...
