Vero Chicago Pizza — Restaurant in Maricopa

My recent visit to this newly opened pizzeria, initially marred by slow service and a touch of disorganization, turned out to be an adventure worth savoring.

Upon arrival, it was evident that the staff was still finding their rhythm as it was only their second day open. Orders seemed to fly in every direction, and the wait time was a tad longer than I had hoped. My order somehow got lost in the shuffle, resulting in a longer wait than anticipated.

However, credit where it's due; the staff handled the situation gracefully and promptly refunded my money, with sincere apologies for the inconvenience caused.

When I finally got my order, it was clear that they'd mastered the art of pizza making. The crust, perfectly crisp and buttery. It reminded me of my favorite place Giordano’s Pizza but perhaps better.

Despite the initial hiccup in service, the quality of the pizza alone more than made up for any inconvenience. In fact, it was so good that I found myself torn between keeping the refunded money or relinquishing it back to the establishment. I will be...

The first time I had Vero's I ordered a deep dish pizza. I was so ready to eat it, I didn't take any pictures. It looked and tasted amazing! It was perfect. Today I ordered a thin crust half and half pizza. When I opened the box I was instantly disappointed. That pizza should've never made it out of the kitchen. It was over cooked, thus very dry. I've been limiting my carbs so when I allow myself to indulge in carbs and they aren't up to par it's even more disappointing. Not to mention being a pizza lover craving pizza and this is what you get! This pizza is not enjoyable at all.

I also love onion rings and love trying the onion rings at different places. This was my first time trying their onion rings. I didn't eat them when they were hot so they were terrible. I will be sure to try them hot next time. Customer service is A+. I gave 3 stars because of my first experience. It would be lower if I was only rating this...

7/24/24-VERO Chicago Pizza in Maricopa-Aidan, Jose and staff provided awesome customer service at a terrific location. The Lake Shore Drive 14" ButterCrust Pan pizza was provided to us before the promised time and man did it weigh a lot , look great and smell fantastic. By the time we got home and tried our first piece, it was still HOT. Aidan provided a military discount without even being asked, must have noticed the military hat, so detailed and conscientious. BIG menu and yes, the pizza was cooked simply PERFECT and tasted great! The menu is priced inline with many other pizza places, give it a try. Now being from Chicago and having traveled and tried pizza in 36 US states, it is different and that is very good thing, being different is a plus. Gunna try the DEEP Dish next, thanks to everyone involved in this wonderful visit to a new and awesome pizza place. FYI...It is 99% take out or delivery only, but don't let...
