Corazon Mexicano Cantina — Restaurant in Marietta

I went with two friends to try out this newer restaurant, it was moderately busy for a Friday but not anywhere close to being packed. Our server was nice, he apologized after 40 minutes when our food had not come out yet and said he talked to the kitchen, a few minutes later he had brought food to three tables all who arrived after we did. Finally 25 minutes later our food came out, it was not bad but nothing special. The server did apologize again, he said he was trying to tell his kitchen we had been waiting a while but never really followed up much more than that.

The manager asked us how was it and we said well it took over an hour to get our food and he said well we are a little short staffed, which is understandable if true but that does not change three other groups who had our server and showed up after we did receive their food a good 30 minutes before ours arrived. The manager still just said we are short staffed and never once apologized or explained how others had been sat before us and received their food, not a few minutes apart either.

The bill came and I was not expecting a free meal but maybe something for the inconvenience, not even 10% or anything.

I understand it is a newer restaurant, things happen but how it was handled and the manager not explaining what had happened when we brought up our concern is very disappointing. I will not be going back here, it looked like a nice venue but it is not all the server's fault, it is the...

We have been here in the past when it was a different name. We atopped in for some food and a Margherita. The setvice wqs fast and friendly. The vibe was cool. We sat on the patio. The only down side was someone was smoking out there and it reall stunk. I think maybe no smoking would be a grrat idea because well, everone else should not have to suffer for someone elses habits. Now to the drink... I orderd a Corazon Margherita which is suppsed to have Grand Marnier in it, but there was absolutely none in there. Now whether that was by accident or on purpose, I am not sure. I informed the server about that and she went and got me basically a half shot of Grand Marnier. I appreciate her for that. Although my drink was halfway gone already, due to the amount of ice and the large quarter lemon in the glass. The food was pretty decent. I have the Corazon Burito and my lady had the chimchanga. The black beans were canned beans, and there was barely any pico de gallo. The server did get me some more on the side. Both were pretty good though. All in all, we will probably be back. Absolutely THE WORST!! We were a party of 3 on our 1 hour lunch from work. We got seated as soon as we walked in. A girl brought out chips and salsa and took our drink order. She brought that to the table quickly and then disappeared!! We waited for about 20 minutes and our waiter nowhere to be found! As I noticed more and more people coming in getting their food and still our waiter nowhere to be found! I asked the buss girl if someone could take our order, finally our waiter shows up. Takes our order another 20 minutes goes by and finally here comes our food. She hands me my food, to which I was confused and told her this was not my order and she said it was. Let me tell you it looked like a side salad, when I ordered a TACO BOWL!! There was no taco bowl just lettuce on a glass plate and you had to dig for the chicken and it was FLAVORLESS!!!!!!!!!
