First time I visited this place was over a year ago. At that time I had tacos and quesadillas. Definitely worth a try. It was also my first experience trying Ceviche (not in the menu) and my palates opened up to new tastes and gladly nothing I would be regretting. This time we ventured into something from the menu and I’m happy to say they have gotten better. I will definitely be visiting them again soon. We tried following: Chiles Rellenos Chicken fajitas Burrito Regular Bistec a la Mexicana Pros - Amazing management, open to suggestions on variation of menu or make adjustments to dish to your liking, and one of my favorite Mexican places now. Cons - For city folks, not in an area where you would find other things to go unless you are on your way to Cobb County DDS for your license.

I got the fajitas. Nice amount of meat but I guess I’m used to more than just a spoonful of rice and refried beans on the side. No guac, no real sour cream, no pico... The meat itself seemed a little tough. They were served with 3 handmade corn tortillas and those were very nice! But, then again, the salsa doesn’t taste like it’s made in-house. For the price and service and taste, I think la Parilla is better just my opinion. I also prefer the micheladas at La Fonda (which are also a dollar cheaper, just sayin). There was nothing offensive about my experience, but the food or drinks didn’t wow me either.

I was craving pozole today on my way home from work. I know how to make it at home but I didn’t want to wait since it could take a few hours to cook. This was delicious! When I got home I noticed it was missing a few of the toppings that usually come with the dish. But I had some at home so I was able to add them. I will definitely be ordering this again.

They have the absolute BEST pozole around. I ordered it one time and now I come back at least once monthly for more. And I've tried it at many restaurants. Theirs is the best by a mile.

I was there today at lunchtime and no other customers were in the dining room. I know Mondays are probably a slower day for restaurants, but I'd love to see this place packed because I want them to be successful and stick around. I think if people had the opportunity to try their pozole, they'd be addicted to it like I am. It would be great if they had a presence at some of the festivals on the Marietta Square.. I'm thinking offer the soup at a fall event on the square? Maybe give out business cards, coupons, or something with each order. People would surely come to the restaurant for their soup fix once they tried it. The secret...

This place has a lot of potential. But honestly, their food is missing sazon, and it can't really be authentic if it doesn't have that flavor that separates authentic mexican food from copycat or tex-mex.. No tiene nada de sabor la carne, el pollo, camarones, menudo, nothing. The caldo de res does have a really good flavor, but everything else is missing it. Also, the meat in the nachos and burritos is way too hard. I think cutting the strips up in chunks will help cook them better and make them softer.. Add some more seasoning and fix the steak problem, and you guys will easily be a 5/5 because you have everything else a good restaurant needs. Eso si, your food is better than the last place that...
