Easily the best sushi in Marietta. For the price, even better than Thaicoon over in the square and honestly, I think the fish is fresher and has a better taste/texture. I am a regular here and I truly don't think I've had anything here I did not enjoy, and thats with my guests ordering items I generally don't like but still enjoy here.

The sushi is so well made the fish almost seems to fall apart in your mouth, every sushi role I've gotten here has been excellent and is very well and competitively priced.

The Hibachi, I mainly get the Filet Mignon which I have never once had an issue over or undercooked at Medium Rare. Good amount of steak and very well seasoned/cooked.

The appetizers are delicious, I generally do not like Crab Rangoons but I enjoy them greatly here. The Gyoza comes pan fried or Steamed which is nice as it accommodates both preferences (not listed on menu but they will deep fry if you ask as well). The Gyoza is packed full and very well made, I don't know if they buy it or make it in house but if bought I need to know where because it is some of the best I've had in the area.

Wide range of desserts and if you want my recommendation, go for the green tea ice cream, never disappoints.

I genuinely do not know why they are so empty lately as the food, service, and atmosphere are great every time. I've done carry out and dine in and enjoyed every experience. The lunch special is a great deal if you're looking to...

My wife and I live in the neighborhood and just found out Tokyo opened. We were thrilled that there’s a competitor for Thaicoon - we got takeout tonight and we’re definitely not disappointed! We loved everything we got and can’t wait to go back and dine in. To be fair, these pictures are from takeout, so of course, the presentation is nothing like I’m sure it would be in the restaurant.

I did go into the restaurant to pick up and I was LOVING the vibe. It’s a very classic sushi/Japanese sushi bar. Extremely clean. The staff is AWESOME at Tokyo, I can tell that everyone is very invested in deliver high quality and a great experience.

Even though Tokyo is new, they have the feel and presence of a long/well-established restaurant. We are soooo pumped that they are in Marietta near the square! Such a win for the neighborhood 😋😋 - the cherry on top is that all of the food is very reasonably priced!

As a side note, I did google map Tokyo to see how people had reviewed the restaurant (it’s very new) and was surprised to see there was a one-star review; that review was from a selfish person that didn’t even eat at the restaurant and didn’t pay attention to opening/closing times. It’s completely irrelevant to the...

Have been craving some steak hibachi for a while now, but haven’t found any that’s reasonably priced/has lunch pricing until I tried this place! I was happy to see their lunch hibachi meal includes the soup, salad, rice, vegg and meat all in one meal for a great price! The portion size was very generous, enough to have for lunch and dinner. So glad I found this location on Google and saw the good reviews and photos. I live about 15 away, but it’s definitely worth the drive. I saw they currently have a dine-in hibachi lunch special for $10.95, too… you can’t beat that! My order was to-go… everything was prepared correctly and utensils were included - staff seemed very friendly at pickup. Wishing this place lots of luck since I know they’re new! :)

Came back with my son for the weekday $10.95 lunch hibachi special and dined in. We had the steak again and it was great. Paid extra for the fried rice option. You can’t beat the price and the portions are generous. The staff was great and service was quick. If you’re in the area, please support this business so that they succeed and are able to stay open - we need to support these small owned businesses, we’ve got to keep them operating successfully in our...

Don't get your hopes up when you see the word 'hibachi' in the name. This is a walk-in or quick to-go Japanese inspired restaurant with plentiful helpings rather than authentic taste. They do not cook in front of you. All of their hibachi dinners are at $22 minimum. Fried rice is a $2.00 surcharge and has nothing but rice and egg (no peas, carrots, etc.). It's not very good. The soup is not a miso soup that comes with it. Their sushi is also quite average, although I had a hard time finding a speciality roll that didn't have both cream cheese and tempura shrimp in it. The portion is very good though, so you do get a lot from one dish. For their mochi prices, you might be better off going into a store or going to a Revolving Sushi Factory. I also sat next to a small family with young children. Since the benches were back to back, I could feel the kicks coming from their legs hitting the seating bench.
