Hardee’s — Restaurant in Marion

I made an online order today for drive thru pickup as I have many times in the past. I logged in, added items to my cart and then checked out, easy peasy. This time though, while I saw an address with Main St, it was in Belmont instead of Marion. I used a Spectrum connection and it geolocated me in the Charlotte area.

I showed up to the store here at 1194 N. Main St. to pick up, and no order. I did not get the persons name, I assume she was the MOD though, but she was helpful beyond words. First she tried to help cancel the order. I had ordered online with a computer, not my phone, so no joy there. She tried calling the Belmont store but no one would answer. She called the District or Regional Manager, they couldn't cancel it due to it being a franchise location.

The long and the short of it, they filled my order and got me on my way. True customer service is so rare these days that when I encounter it in such an old school way, I have to give it a shout out. Thank you so very much. That is why I choose this over the other one in town. The difference is night and day. Not many chain stores would do this that I am aware of.

All dad and I wanted to do was pick up some lunch and enjoy a picnic on a lovely fall day. And it was looking pretty grim. But we got to do just that thanks to the people at this Hardee's. Bless...

I don’t recommend going here. Although the food is great, the customer service is lacking. We were served by Chelsea inside, and Brittany was manning the drive through. When we came in there was a line of people waiting for orders, one man had been waiting at least half an hour, and when his order came up, he was given half of it, he had to correct them, and Chelsea mentioned that he may have said a number that confused her, she then tried to explain to Brittany what was done wrong. While waiting for our food, two other customers came up requesting things missing from their order, or for things to be fixed. When we finally got our food, we were missing the cookie from our All-Star Meal, the sauces, and we were only given 3 small onion rings each, not worth the 30¢ upgrade from fries. I waited at the counter to correct my order for another 10 minutes, Brittany walked by twice, looked at me, and ignored me. I was only able to get my order fixed by asking Chelsea for help when she handed another guest their food. There wasn’t a manager to be...

Not the friendliest employees here, however the food was really really good. Several Hardee’s in WNC have let their standards slip and are inconsistent with the quality of food. This location is on point! Would definitely visit again!

Edit: 1/21/25 I’m back again, same crabby employee , same amazing food! Reminds me of those dives where bad service is just part of the experience. The omelette biscuit was the best I’ve had since the last time I was here, the chicken biscuit was absolutely perfect. The food is so good here (you can tell the locals wanna keep this gem a secret) I drive out of my way to eat here every time I’m traveling I-40. The absolute best...
