To start with we came up the building no signs to show you which way to go to get into the restaurant, that’s no big deal wasn’t hard to figure out but they where so signs. We was the first ones there as soon as it opened up for lunch so we could sit anywhere we wanted too. They was a three man crew two in the kitchen one waiting on tables taking orders and payments. Was not greeted with a friendly or a smile. The server seems to hate his job was the vibe I was getting. He didn’t offer any house specials or try to upsell appetizers. When we ordered are appitizerand drinks they where swiftly brought to us (7-10mins) I ordered a coke I was brought a glass with ice and a can of soda….. My wife ordered Macha milk tea with boba. They no longer serve boba but its on the menu. The tea was brewed extra strong and was instantly giving me and the wife a migraine. The food and appetizers however it was really going to save this review it was extremely superb in depth of flavor and presentation. Each ingredients I tasted was freash and packed full of the depth and flavor of this amazing culture. The inside has a nice atmosphere but is squashed by a can being presented at the dining table as a drink….. Using a can is fine in a restaurant. Personally belive if they wish to use cans, they need glasses big enough to put the entire can into the glass with ice and only bring the glass to the table. (don't ruin or stain the atmosphere with a can of soda, this is for the owners to read to make it a better experience) other then that the waiter could have been better nicer and friendly. The cook had to bring out are food and take are dirty...
Read moreRecommend everything about Thai Bliss!. Not knowing what to expect upon entering, as this location has been vacant for quite some time and appeared “outdated” on the exterior, once inside everything was clean, fresh, comfortably appointed with the Thai flair you’d expect in a Thai restaurant. We were greeted by the owner, Coy and seated at our table. We wanted to place an order of basil wraps but, they didn’t have some ingredients for some things. But, they deserved a pass today seeing as they just opened. We had the chicken Pad Thai and the shrimp Pad Thai along with their Thai Tea w/boba and it was absolutely delicious! Nice portions and everything was priced fairly. We spoke briefly with Coy, who was the owner of Thai Basil in Black Mountain prior to that location closing. We are glad we have Thai Bliss in our area and look forward to many more delicious meals to...
Read moreWell I enjoyed this restaurant until I found pieces of pork scattered throughout my vegan curry. I can’t trust this place to not cross contaminate meat with vegan/vegetarian dishes. If you eat meat- no biggie, but if you don’t- beware!
I’ve been a vegetarian for most of my life. Due to this my body cannot process eating meat anymore. If I eat meat on accident I get pretty sick. Most people do not understand this. They think “oh, you can just pick it out or eat around it”. It doesn’t work that way when you haven’t eaten meat in over 30 years. Since this place advertises vegan dishes they should be ensuring that the dishes are truly vegan and safe for non-meat eaters to consume. Really disappointed because I was so happy to have a new place to eat in Marion. Just another restaurant off the...
