Unless you get lucky with the serving staff and cooks, I do not like to come here. The best cook seems to be Nate, and the best servers seem to be Brianna and Matthew on second or third shift.
Saturday, My husband, our two friends, and I arrived around 10 PM. There are about 2-4 tables of less than 4 people and 2 servers, Jalen and Aylin Martinez. Aylin sat us down then walked off. After 10 minutes, I started a timer to see about how much longer it would take for someone to even ask for our drinks. We saw the other server taking care of her tables, but we and another 2 tables that came in after us did not get any drinks for at least another 17 minutes per the timer, 27 minutes at least. When we finally had someone, it was a server who had come in for the night who informed us the previous server, Aylin, had refused to help with any drinks or do any work because they were getting off. While I understand some want to be off by a certain time, at least tell your customers or don't sit us down unless you plan to interact with us in some way. It wasn't the fault of the server who came in after, but even the cooking that night wasn't great with overcooked food and items forgotten for several more minutes. We ended up not leaving until after midnight, but we certainly won't be eating here again if we see the first two are on shift. Aylin shouldn't have refused to help her coworker because restaurant staff are meant to be a team. Jalen knew of the situation and didn't bother with assisting. Both were completely...
Read moreChristmas afternoon family from out of state surprised us with a visit, so we decided to go to IHOP for dinner. We arrive and told there was a wait of 15/20 minutes. We are fine with this until we noticed people leaving and multiple tables empty but they aren't calling anyone to be seated. They proceeded to tell everyone that it would be 30 more minutes and would you like to look at a menu. Some people ended up leaving and taking their money elsewhere. We were finally seated and placed our orders. When the waitress started bringing out our food she informed us they were out of french fries. There was 6 of us and 3 ordered burgers and fries. We just got our burgers without fries but was charged the original price. One of the people in our party was taking pictures, the waitress came and told us it was brought to their attention we were taking pictures and if we didn't stop we would be asked to leave. Pictures were being taken because once again there were people waiting to be seated but we counted over 10 empty tables. Have been to IHOP many times and have never had this kind of service. Our food was also cold by the time we got it. We did leave the waitress a large tip. They could have let us know that the kitchen was running behind, seated us, gave us drinks and told us they would be back to take our order as soon as the kitchen was ready for more orders. But this was not what happened. The customers were not treated responsibly. We will...
Read moreWent in there because I received a gift card from work. Waitress took our drink order then left for about 10 minutes then proceeded too take drink and food order from next table, seated after we were. The lady had a dog and they were more interested in the dog than the customers. Our good came out after about 35 minutes. I had a salad that came after my meal and the manager asked what was my second side. Then it was another wait just to be told there was not tomatoes which was fine. My granddaughter got chicken and waffles, chicken was cold and dry, waffles were burnt and not given any sauce. My potatoes were ice cold so they took back my whole plate then brought me potatoes and asked if I wanted the original pot roast or remake it (if you have to ask then why bother). My son got up and left the table in frustration, my granddaughter cried. They brought us boxes shortly after our good came then had the nerve to ask if i could pay. I am furious with both the waitress and manager. I will never go back again and calling cooperate office also. Avoid IHOP like the plague, also the dog was a saying off the women’s plate. You could smell gas in the building as...
