King Gyros — Restaurant in Marion

I feel sorry for all the Marion folk who don't know any better. Menu listed on urban spoon link isn't right FYI. Barely any greek options and the rest is a hodgepodge of mexican, steaks, burgers, etc... Tried the 'prime rib' and my buddy had the new york strip. Pretty sure both came from the clearance meat bin at Kroger and was the part of the cow that didn't even qualify for a chuck steak label. Note: prime rib isn't cooked on a grill... Once waitress dropped food and check never saw her again (pretty sure she hung herself in back out of shame for the crap she just served us). I would have had an easier time stomaching the old man in the restroom that crapped all over the place than the "food" on my plate. I'm assuming his incontinence was due to whatever five course meal he had just finished as well. At least the garlic bread was decent. Maybe they should change their name to king garlic bread and stick to variations of garlic...

Unfortunately we did not experience any service at this venue. We waited for 15minutes for our waitress to even acknowledge us. Another waitress, who noticed we had not been acknowledged came and took our drink order. She told us she would send our waitress right over. Me and my party of four witnessed this conversation but yet our waitress insisted on serving two tables that were seated after we were! So to be certain, I asked the waitress who brought our drinks who our waitress was, she pointed out the lady who had been more than ignoring us. We promptly left the establishment with no apology offered at all. We ventured to this location on our route to Michigan because of its food offerings and positive reviews. I used to love going to this establishment but after today's visit I don't know if I will ever go back. I totally understand the shortage of labor and the challenges around that but when you and the table across the aisle both order at the same time from the same waitress and they get there food 10 minutes later and 30 minutes later are cleaeing the table and my wife and I are still waiting on the easiest menu item they have something is wrong. Yes, I patiently waited 40 minutes and eventually left before the meal ever arrived. Never had contact with the waitress after we ordered. No apologies for the wait or even acknowledgement we were there still while several patrons who arrived after us had received...
