EDITED REVIEW: So the original owners sold the place a few years back but this place is still the best ice cream in the area. Probably the best I've ever had. The new owner is super nice, he always takes care of us and always has a smile on his face. My favorite is the butter pecan flavor burst, oh my goodness!! It's heavenly!! And a good twist cone every now and again just hits the spot. My kids love either the cotton candy or the bubblegum, of course. It's the actual ice cream that is different here and that's why it's so good. I have no idea what they do differently but whatever it is, I just hope they keep doing it because this place is my happy place lol. It's definitely my guilty pleasure. And the best part? They sell their ice cream in pints, quarts, and half gallons so you can take it home and eat it without having to make a run to the shop every time. Or maybe that's a bad thing? I don't know. But, just as a hint, if you are going to order some ice cream in large quantities, please be kind and call ahead to order whatever you need. The flavor burst machine can only put out so much and it tends to get soft after the first quart or so. But they will still take care of you because that's just what they do! But that ice cream man!! If you honestly haven't tried The Freeze, then you are seriously missing out on something amazing.

Service: 4/5 Good but there's usually only 1-2 people working there so it usually takes 3-6 minutes to get your order.

Food: 5/5 Excellent. I enjoyed the ice cream. Consider adding some other menu items like French fries or cheese curds.

Price: 5/5 Average price for an ice cream shop. Not cheap but it's not high for what you can get elsewhere.

Cleanliness: 4/5 Staff will give you a napkin or paper towel with a weird look if you make a mess. They're not really interested in the Cleanliness of the eating area.

Atmosphere: 5/5 There's not much to talk about with the atmosphere of this place. It's not a fine in restaurant. You get your order and eat it outside or in your car.

Overall: 23/25 (92%) Summary: Decent service but it might take a while to get your ice cream. It's delicious and worth the wait though. Decent pricing, not too high and not too low. Staff could pay more attention to the cleanliness of their space but it's outdoors so there's not much you can do. The seating is on the bench outside or in your car if you decide to...

They messed up my very first order, but after giving them a second chance, the ladies there made a perfect hotdog with extra relish just like I asked, and the owner came by to comment that she had remembered me from last time. While I can understand that after seeing 200 faces a day, she might not have remembered my name, however I was slightly impressed she stopped at the window, and asked how I was since last time I visited. It's not much, but it's the little things that make you happy you decided to be lazy and get a hotdog at the freeze instead of cooking at home.
