Mama’s Hometown Market — Restaurant in Marion

We ordered online during business hours earlier this week and drove 20 minutes across town as exhausted and hungry parents of an infant hoping to pick up food on our way elsewhere, only for the order to go through and say when it would be ready but the business was closed and the phone for the restaurant didn’t allow a message and hasn’t been updated since dates they reported being out in January in their audio recording. We didn’t have time to find another place to order from and wait on food so we had to skip eating lunch. Talk about intense disappointment. 😓😮‍💨🫣

I tried to call again today to try to get a refund, but still no answer. I checked my bank statement and it does appear that someone at the business caught the order and returned it to me. I gave two service stars for that and appreciate not having to dispute it with my credit card company while time is so precious and limited with an infant. I just wish they’d update their phone and signage and prevent online orders while they aren’t open. 🙏

WE FINALLY HAVE A LITTLE CAFE/DELI!!! So nice to have it here. I had the ham and cheese with the Wisconsin Cheese soup of the day, amazing! I gave the service 4 stars only because it takes a little time to get your food so if it's a work day be prepared. Other than that, staff was very friendly, the place became packed shortly after we arrived they maintained their cool! My nephew has already been back how dare he not invite me to go! So needless to say... I too will be back! Can't wait to see what the...

Of the many drinks I've chosen over the many visits, they've always been delicious! I particularly like the Italian sodas with cream and none of the flavors taste bad. The food is good, but I haven't gotten as many food items as I have drinks. The only thing that could make this place better is a drink stamp card. I'll always support small local businesses over others. Everyone I've interacted with has been really friendly as well.

Update: I've tried more drinks and have yet to find one I don't like....
