This Dairy Queen has the absolute worst quality control of any fast food restaurant I have ever frequented. Last time it was cold hot-dogs, and this time it was a #1 burger reheated in the microwave before being given to me in the drive through. How did I know it was microwaved? The bun, lettuce, onions, and condiments were all hotter than the burger patty. They were hotter than my fries. In fact, the entire thing was so insanely hot, I couldn't even handle the burger at first without burning my fingers. Everything was wilted and mushy, and it was 100% obvious this burger was reheated whole in the microwave.
I don't know if the employees there just don't care or if they are stupid enough to think that their customers won't notice or report this stuff. All I know is that this is absolute ridiculous. Even disregarding the cold hot-dogs from before and this microwaved burger, there have been innumerable small problems with just about every order I have ever placed at this DQ.
I tried contacting them on the phone, but after dialing 20 times with no answer, I am resorting to going through the website to report this ineptitude. This DQ needs to get their stuff together. The next time they serve me something that is obviously past the safety timer or under-cooked or reheated, I am going to contact state health...
Read moreI never leave negative reviews but I think the experience we had at this Markle, IN DQ absolutely warrants one. If I could leave 0 starts that would be too many. We came to this DQ and ordered chicken tender baskets— yes there were several, but instead of having our car pull ahead or park to wait on the meals (like every other fast food establishment) we were berated and very rudely told that this kind of order is required to be called ahead. When we went to hand the drive thru cashier the money to pay she very loudly and dramatically yelled not to touch her which then prompted another woman coming to the window also saying not to touch this woman? For simply trying to pay for our order? At this time a district manager just so happened to be at the location and pulled these women away from the window and apologized to us for their behavior. After this whole experience my mom and niece left in tears completely humiliated and traumatized. Shame on these women for their treatment of a customer who wanted to get her grandkids lunch. We will not be going back to this location ever and hopefully in the future these people will have the capacity to handle orders for families larger...
Read moreAfter this terrible experience yesterday, I will start checking for poor reviews before stopping and spending money.
There was one vehicle at the window when we pulled up. It took a solid 5 minutes for anyone to answer the speaker. It was the same time that the vehicle in front of us pulled away.
It was a very basic order. 4 blizzards, 2 pops, 2 chili cheese dogs, and 2 chicken meals. We were handed blizzards that were starting to melt as they came out of the window. And sat at the window waiting on our hot food long enough we all had completely eaten our blizzards. There were 3 employees and no one in the lobby. Why did a small order take so long? I could see 2 of the 3 standing talking while the 3rd must have been working on the order.
Food comes out almost cold. And both ranch dipping sauces were chunky, toasted bread was soggy, and most of the chicken strips were small crumb sized.
You know it's bad when a hungry 5 year old boy says: "Dad, this tastes funny."
Had I known I could post pictures, I would have taken pictures before I threw the food away at the first Wendy's up the road.
0/10 would recommend this...
