Subway — Restaurant in Markle

Never ever order from the drive through if you care about getting what you actually order. We ordered a BLT off the menu nothing special. We were asked what we wanted on it and answered just the sandwich as it comes. OMG when we got home all it was was a 6 inch piece of bread, a dab of mayo and 2 slices of soggy bacon. What part of B bacon, L lettuce, T tomato don't they understand. If I wanted a bacon sandwich I would have ordered a bacon sandwich. By definition a BLT wasn't what we got. SMH I can't believe the stupidity of the ppl working there. Had I gone inside I would have seen the idiot make the sandwich and could have directed her just how to make a BLT. What do they teach kids in school these days? They can't even make change. When the total came to $15.17 I handed her a $20 and said I have the change and handed her the a dime, nickle and 2 pennies. She looked confused and said she would have to void the sale and start over because she didn't want her drawer to be short or over. I said all you have to do is give me a $5. She called over another person to help her. WTH who doesn't know how to make change and is hired to work with money? If I had been that supervisor she would have been wrote up for making a customer wait on such a stupid thing. Oh when I did call about that BLT the person answering the phone said they couldn't do anything unless I brought the sandwich back and if I did then they would add the lettuce and tomato. Wow me drive all the way back for them to fix their error? I think not. We won't...

They've always had pretty good food here. The bread is usually really fresh. The Veggies & cheese are Fresh & kept chilled. I've never had any Warm or Hot Vegetables put onto any of the Sandwiches I have gotten from there. They do get Busy at Certain Times of the day. I have not gotten a Fountain Drink from there in like Year's, reason being for that is one of my Son's friends worked there during High School & She told me that I should probably go over to the Gas Station part to get a drink, because the machine at Subway was very Dirty & Full of Mold growing inside it. I know this to be a Factual Fact, because She Showed me & I Saw it with my Own Eyes. It could be all fixed & better by now, due to this being around 2015, but, as For Myself, I Shall Pass on the Fountain Machine Drinks there, unless I could see it all with my Own Eyes that it's Kept Clean & Sanitary with No Mold. But, other than that, the Subway in the TINY Town of MARKLE, INDIANA Has Really Fresh & Good Food. I recommend eating there. Just might skip on the Fountain...

The lady working seemed new. I ordered a flatbread and ways do and know they are toasted but for some reason this lady out my eggs and things that needed heated in a container and put it in the oven without toasting the flatbread. I didn't say anything thinking maybe they changed something and it isn't required toasted anymore. When she got the stuff out of the oven, she used her gloved hands to take the hot items from the container and put them in my sandwich and she clearly was burning her fingers. I asked for a cup of water and when I got the receipt, she charged me for a drink. The first bite of the sandwich I knew was supposed to be toasted because the flour from the bread was coming off...
