The food was delicious. Nachos were excellent, clam chowder decent, fish tacos the best I’ve ever had, and cold lobster roll not bad. Drinks were great. Mariana the hostess was very polite, friendly, and accommodating. She treated us just like everyone else. Joe the food runner was very polite, friendly, and attentive. I asked him a question directly to find out the names of those who served us today, which just so happened to be my boyfriend’s birthday, and Joe made sure that we received a birthday song and dessert. Meghann tried to take over when I asked this question, as if she didn’t want Joe to tend to us. Joe was fine with answering the simple question and request (which I made separate from my table). Meghann on the other hand made us feel as if she made assumptions about our party from the moment we sat down. “I need to see your ID, of course.” Not in a complimenting way that I look young, but in a condescending way that I should have been pulling out my ID before she even mentioned it. I also asked Meghann if the restaurant carries sour cream, and if so could we have some with our nachos. She responded with, “we always bring it out with our nachos.” As if I’m supposed to just know that - but I had never been to this establishment previously. I then asked for some linens, as I noticed that every other party had them and we didn’t. Meghann responded with, “I’m sorry, she was slacking on her job today.” From a former server to another, throwing a colleague under the bus is frowned upon. And Meghann’s assumption that my party would find an insult funny was very wrong. I do plan on coming back to this establishment for the food and patio ambiance. I also hope that I do not get Meghann as a server again. She seemed very conversational and respectful with other tables, but I somehow did not get the...
Read moreThis is just my opinion, my opinion goes along with MY likes and dislikes. .. and i have zero problem tipping the scales here. I'll be honest, this place screwed up so badly that we were gifted FULL $100 gf to show sorrow. I like that... integrity, good faith finally a REAL apology but a bot IA response. We came back, for free of course, everything tastes better free...no? Well... we were pleasantly pleased.. everything tasted AMAZING! So as I sit here, thinking I did good! In the wife agen, actually ex-wife if a REALLY great guy that i married.. we are just better co- parents not married, 😉🥰.. but we LOVE our daughter...oops sorry. Menopause has struck, ummm as I sit here "sitting" in his realm because I appreciate his hard work for OUR family. Regardless if we are married or not, he is taking care of "cassidys mom" not because he is in love with me.. but because he loves his daughter.. and if I'm ok, she's ok.. I'm not mad at that! My appendix burst,u an out of sick time, wittier about this 6x6 hole in my stomach closing up... and this guy works so hard for us.. ask he wants to do is watch the game (MY HELL) but I do it.. because ((MY HELL) is cooking. So thank you Corey.. for this much needed break from reality, thank you to Shannon.. by FAR the very BEST bartender i have ever cried my eyes too.. whether happy or sad. She made my drinks with love and compassion.. she HEARD my cries when I asked for an "absurd" amounts of lemons.....idk why?, but it just makes me happy some give 2.. that's NOT absurd, that's annoying 🤣... which in turn opens my heart, in turn gives you a bigger tip! So... just stop and listen when someone has the guts to talk... you might just learn...
Read moreThis was a takeout order. Staff seemed friendly. I asked if there was bread or rolls when my order was presented, and the hostess hurried to order some for me. They were piping hot and smelled delicious when she returned. Mixed review on the entrees. I ordered the broiled salmon and baked potato, butter on the side. Substantial sized portion of salmon ( at least 12 oz. perhaps more) and large baked potato (only available at dinner). My husband ordered a broiled version of their Fisherman's Net: haddock, scallops and shrimp with a large baked potato, butter & sour cream. I ordered a side of the vegetable of the day: cauliflower, carrots & zucchini, plain, for us to share. They were steamed nicely. The Fisherman's Net was substantially smaller than mine: 5 or 6 small medium shrimp, I could not determine the size of the scallops, and the haddock seemed to be 4 or 5 oz. , tops. The baked potato was rotten in the middle, which my husband did not realize until the end. He was happy he had not added the sour cream. I do not know if the kitchen could have determined that fact. We have not eaten at Kennedy's for over 16 years. I have always considered it a little bit more pricey compared to other local options and better suited for the 'older set'. Now, we are the older set! My meal was excellent, but my husband's was not, in fact disappointing, hence only 3 stars. It was my birthday but decided against any of their desserts, trying to eat healthy. Perhaps if we had indulged in the mile-high cake or creme-brulee, I could have rated it higher. My husband was still hungry at the end of the meal, which is not...
